It’s located a few miles North of downtown Lahaina, Ka’anapali Beach has golden sand that spans for more than three miles. It was named “America’s Best Beach” in 2003 by Dr. Beach. Snorkeling near the Black Rock borders on the very North end is its best feature and you may even come face to face with a turtle. Another attraction at this spot is the cliff diving, cliff divers jump from the rock each night.

The resort is along the shores of the Great Cruz Bay, steps from the Caribbean. Great Cruz Bay is a tranquil bay with gorgeous white sandy beaches. Trunk Bay is another amazing spot and is part of the Virgin Islands National Park. Here you can lie on the beautiful white sandy beach or snorkel on an underwater snorkeling trail. Then there is The Cinnamon Bay, which contains many historical sites and artifacts. It offers an archaeological site dating back to the prehistoric and historical eras of St. John. You can visit an archaeological lab or hike on a trail that takes you through an old Danish plantation.

Port of St. Lucie

Cocoa Beach
Near Orlando (about an hour)
For a convenient nearby beach that most vacationers like to frequent, even from Orlando, is Cocoa Beach. Alan Shepard Beach Park is one of the favorites, named after the first American Astronaut sent into space. The beach is five acres and is a huge attraction when there is a launch. Canaveral Pier is a renowned landmark and this 900 foot wooden pier was built in 1963 and was once the spot the Astronauts liked to hangout. Though, now, it is better known by East Coast Surfers as Mecca.
Jensen Beach – Hutchinson Island
Here you can experience the “Old Florida” appeal and it’s considered to be one of the most charming places for a vacation in all of Florida. With an ideal climate and its innate splendor, here you can fish, golf, go horseback riding on the beach, and you may see an endangered sea turtle or even a manatee.
