"A truly soul renewing and body renewing atmosphere. We love all the little decorative touches and huge overstock of everything a visitor could need. The interior is absolutely silent and peaceful. The high ceilings and numerous odd shaped, angled windows and walls added to our overall sense of fun and adventure. This was truly an awe inspiring adventure which made us reluctant to leave our mountain treats, even for the lovely charm of the town. All this and amazing views."

The view decks and plentiful windows in the home were designed perfectly to make the most of the location on top of the mountain. Very spacious floor plan, fun upstairs loft for the kids, plus a private room downstairs for mom and dad, well equipped kitchen with all you would need for a comfortable, convenient stay. The Dome is an unforgettable place with amazing energy. The sun setting with views of everything offered the most romantic setting for our special moment! The check in/check out process took 5 minutes and we were on our way to a picturesque cabin with all of the amenities. Very reasonable price too......much cheaper than staying at a hotel. It was the perfect Christmas getaway from Los Angeles. We can't wait to come back to Idyllwild and when we do, we will be renting from New Spirit."

"Inspiring architecture both inside and out with a nice setting along the creek, and in our face a view of suicide rock that made us want to just stay at the property and enjoy being there, which we did. Plus, the location was such that exploring just the local area by foot very refreshing. THE VERY GORGEOUS EAGLES REST
"We enjoyed Eagle Rest very much. Great location. The property is newly renovated and has a beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances. The bedrooms were very clean and spacious with attached private bathrooms. The jacuzzi is well maintained and is a peaceful place to enjoy a glass of wine after a long trail hike on the mountain. The game room has a great pool table and wet bar. Front patio is a great place to watch the blue jays and the squirrels over a cup of coffee. WE had a great stay! Will definitely be back again soon!!"

"The two of us spent our eight year anniversary at Eagle Rest Lodge. The cabin is spacious, and it is everything you could want a cabin to be. The views through the giant glass windows were amazing, especially in the morning. The kitchen is well stocked, and we made a lot of fun food. The cabin is near the trail head of the Dear Springs trail and we hiked up to Suicide Rock, which had fantastic views. The hot tub was sublime after our hike."

"We stayed at the Eagle's Rest Lodge for 2 nights over New Year's this year and had the most wonderful stay! The home is even better than the photos suggest and is a delightful vacation rental. It is very private and almost every room has a gorgeous view of the mountains. The upstairs game room and wet bar area is a dream and opens right out to the back yard where the hot tub is located! John, your host, is great to work with and very responsive. Oh, and the kitchen is just fantastic as well and we cooked a LOT! Can't wait to come back here to stay. Only word of warning is to definitely bring chains if you are coming during the winter. The road that the house is located on has a couple of hills that can be tricky when icy and chains were needed because we arrived during a snow storm. Oh, and Idyllwild is a super cute town to boot. Simply can't wait to return!"

All the big things, Spa, Pool Table, Internet... but also lots of little touches like a gaming table, a ton of board games, lots of plush towels, neat decorations and the cabin was immaculate. We like to cook and the kitchen has high end appliances, lots of gadgets, quartz counter tops... This place was perfect and surprisingly priced affordable."

"We were fortunate enough to spend Thanksgiving in this beautiful cabin. We cooked our dinner in the fantastic kitchen using all the great pots and pans and utensils provided. We at at the huge table that accommodated all eight of us. It was perfect. Everything is high end and beautifully done. There is something for everyone - outdoors enthusiasts and indoor entertainment. The house is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The view is outstanding, even at night, with stars and twinkling lights. It's gorgeous. We enjoyed our weekend enormously. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home."

"Stayed here, just two people. It was huge. We could get lost in the house, it had so many rooms, so I'd recommend it for groups to be sure. Everything was immaculately clean and organized. A chef's dream kitchen, the pots and pans are high-end as were the dishes and knives. You can cook up a storm in this place! Everything you need for a weekend of pure luxury. The bedding is luxurious as well as the towels and linens. You won't be disappointed. THE VIEWS were stunning. The property is absolutely beautiful with trails and plenty to do. There's even an outdoor fire pit for cold nights (a rare find in the mountains.) The property overlooks the valley thousands of feet in the distance- you can practically see the ocean on a clear day."

"We were the first tenants to rent this property and it was, in a few words, an absolutely charming, beyond satisfactory, clean and warm majestic cabin. Everyone in our group from the little ones to the adults could not stop raving about how this was their ultimate dream house. The cabin is cozy, very clean, and very high tech! It also had a breathtaking view of the city and lots to explore because the property itself is huge! The rooms each are decorated to create a warm atmosphere and the beds are so comfortable that you won't want to leave it. It feels just like home! The owner was also very helpful in terms of providing everything that we could ever need. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend that our group will never forget!! "The Skyrock house was just perfect! Our group went up on Friday night and came back Sunday in January. We were a little bummed the weather didn't give us a winter wonderland, but it made it a lot easier to get out and explore the town. The two master bedrooms are very nice, with down comforters that I was told I must mention in the review! Upstairs we had such fun having a two night slumber party. the other women who were downstairs were a little jealous of our fun set-up. The kitchen and bathrooms are great, the hot-tub was hot, and the wood burning stove kept us warm all weekend. Can't imagine how it could have gone better! We also needed an extra half hour to get out no time, and the owners were very understanding, and just so sweet on the phone. We already plan to make it a tradition to go back to Skyrock and would even hope to get back this winter when there is some snow to play in!"

"My husband, our two daughters (4 and 6), and their grandmother had a wonderful stay in Skyrock. The layout of the home is fabulous; hardwood floors throughout the living room, but the bedrooms have a nice thickly padded carpet for coziness. The loft is also carpeted, with pine walls for a true cabiny feeling. Everything was well stocked, and the hot tub is awesome! It's surrounded by pine trees, so beautiful. I love to cook, and had a ball in the kitchen, it's very open to the living room so I didn't have to leave the fun to do my thing. I enjoyed doing my yoga in the foresty yard in the morning. We can't wait to see what it's like in the winter!"

MISSION HILLS GOLF RESORT & SPA
Okay, so your on vacation, what should you expect? Well for one great service right? Then Westin Mission Hills is the place. We come here every year for spring break and this year the staff has really stepped it up. Starting with Jim Moran the GM. We had a special request and Jim made sure it was taken care of. We were very pleased with his follow through. Then you have Ethan, Entertainment Manager, you might even say Cruise Director. He makes sure everyone is having a great time and if you are not then he will work to see what he can do to make your time more enjoyable. Our service out by the main pool was first class all the way. Ashley, our server, made sure we never waited for food or drink. She is very pleasant and extremist sociable. She is great with kids and always checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed to make sure our vacation was pleasurable. We were very happy to see that Maria was still working here at the front desk. She is always smiling and makes us feel "at home". The spring Break Westin Mission Hills hit a Home Run!!!"
