Idyllwild is nestled in the San Jacinto mountains.  Set among tall pines, sweet smelling cedars and legendary rocks, the town has kept its "small town" atmosphere.  Here the scene evokes serenity, the arts and natural beauty.

If you are ready to get away from the traffic jams, city lights and noisy city life, this is the town for you!  Even the pace of dining slows because there is not a fast food restaurant to be found.  This small quaint town is abound with art galleries, specialty shops, antique stores, and cafe's to enjoy and meander around town.

Idyllwild has perfect day hikes for the short weekend adventure, as well as the high country for the longer "over night" hiking journeys.

Rock Climbing is another favorite past time in which to enjoy Idyllwild. With many boulders and the legendary Tahquitz/Lily and Suicide Rocks, Idyllwild attracts beginners as well as seasoned professionals.

 For the Boating and Fishing fans we have Lake Hemet less then 15 minutes away from our homes in Idyllwild.
