This family home is tucked away on just under an acre and is a short stroll from town. A seasonal stream runs along the property edge of this hidden gem. As you enter the front door a roomy living awaits with vaulted ceilings & a cozy fireplace. Windows frame the inviting lot offering privacy & space. The dining area connects the living and kitchen creating an open & easy floor plan. Patio sliders are leading from the dining/kitchen area to an oversized outdoor deck perfect for outdoor entertaining & simply hanging out with a good book on a lazy hazy day. A perfect family home close to town with space for roaming & enjoying nature.
Limited mobility–friendly. Four exterior concrete steps. Not wheelchair accessible or ADA-compliant.

Lovely setting
"In the Pines is a perfect little house for our family. 3 nice bedrooms with bunks for the kids. Easy walk to town. Very clean with a decent kitchen. Will probably stay there again. "

Perfect location
"This cabin is in the perfect location. It is a short walk into town. Even shorter to eat at La Casita. The deck is huge. There is a large grassy area in the back that goes down to a creek. The kitchen is filled with just about anything you could want for cooking. Do bring your favorite spices though. The beds were comfy enough. Two showers and a bathtub. Water pressure in the shower is not good. I suggest googling for NOSAME shower head. TV has Roku. We added our fire stick. Some TVs had Apple TV. Big table for eating meals. We had a great time here. We will be back with the entire family. "
Weekend Escape
"Staying at In The Pines for a weekend with our daughter and her husband and out two small grandchildren was a wonderful experience. It was the very clean and had everything we needed to cook and bbq. We would definitely stay there again and stay a day longer. The only drawback was that it is a long walk to town. Going downhill wasn't bad but coming back was uphill. So we just drove. "
Even better the 2nd time around
"We just finished our second stay at this property. We're still very impressed with how clean, modern and comfortable this home is. It's amazingly quiet, it's walking distance to downtown Idyllwild and we're close to tons of hiking and walking. (We can also walk to La Casita Mexican, the best restaurant in town in our opinion.) On top of that we are very appreciative of the professionalism and warmth of the staff at check-in and anytime we deal with them."
