Had a great time very nice owners, views were great! it was right next to the side of the mountian so you could see for miles. Very spacious living area and nice big kitchen. <br/>Rooms were just fine for sleeping and beds were comfy. <br/><br/>Lots of stairs to go up but it's worth it. <br/>Tub tub views were really quite nice also and Great for sunsets<br/><br/>In the sun there's cool lizards all over the back rock area that like to check you out also. Large squirrels and many birds in the area as well. <br/><br/>hiking trials are super close and numerous. many within 5-10min drive. <br/><br/>The town is so cool def spots to check out is the many eatery's, the brewpub, the vintage Store on the second level main town and the winery's

We've been meaning to stay here for years and finally went: saw a deer in the yard, nice of them to have binoculars and a telescope, if you expect to use a hot tub make sure to ask about it when you reserve. Ultimately check-in was very smooth and easy, but as an old-school paper person (who procrastinates) the request for a copy of ID before arrival was worrying. Everyone was pleasant and responsive during our stay (we got some help sorting out TV remotes).

Home has an excellent location and layout; all rooms open into the central living room, which has expansive glass to capture the mountaintop view. Bedrooms on three levels--each with its own bathroom.

The View was a dream to stay in. With a beautiful view, plenty of space and in a beautiful neighborhood, this place really was a treat. Night time hot tub star gazing was amazing, and we happened to catch the satellite launch from the deck. Very spectacular! Monica and her staff were incredibly helpful and kind to us and attended to our concerns. We very Michael look forward to staying with them again.

Great open floor plan, everything was perfect. Kids had a blast and we enjoyed the peaceful getaway.

This beautiful, serene cabin was the perfect escape from the workday world for me and my wife. This home is truly special, from the jaw-dropping views from the deck and master bedroom to the thoughtful, nature-based architecture that runs through ever facet of the place. Metal, wood, stone and sky are woven together in perfect balance inside this unique gem, and the owners have added even more artistry and elegance throughout with sculptures and art pieces. The home was so comfortable and inviting we did not want to leave. The master bedroom has soaring vaulted windows with astonishing views of the nearby mountain peaks and a sky full of stars at night. It has ever amenity you could want and quality appliances and furnishings. We ate out on the vast deck overlooking the creek and took in the autumn landscape and loved every minute of our stay. <br/><br/>Monica and her team at New Spirit Vacation Homes always go out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel like family, and that means so much when you are stressed out and just looking for some peace. They make the whole process so easy.

We could have just sat on the patio the entire time. Washing dishes was a pleasure because you could just stare out the window. The entire wall was windows so, wether you were outside or inside you see all the mountains and trees.

Had a great weekend staying at this cabin. The space was clean and well maintained. Nothing fancy, but that's not what we were looking for. No major issues, although a few recommendations would be: better lighting outside on porch, water pressure in shower not great, no AC (it was a hot weekend), directions to find property were a little confusing. But overall it was a nice quiet place to relax.

We had 3 lovely days in Idyllwild to hike, explore, shop and snuggle. No snow, but chilly and the comfortable beds and awesome heater made nights cozy and comfortable. The location of the property makes for an easy, short drive, or walk to town. Yet distanced enough to be private and off the beaten path, and quiet. The design of the home provides lots of privacy too, with bedrooms on either end. We loved the extra dining space and used the big table to start a puzzle. The cabin felt like a home with all the amenities, thoughtful touches, and mountain decor. We will return and I would highly recommend the property and management staff to friends. New Spirit staff were helpful and kind. We enjoyed great pizza at Idyllwild pizza, enjoyed the brewery food and drink, Red Kettle did not disappoint, and have a small addition to the chocolate at El Buen Cacao.

My family had a great time at this lovely cottage. We enjoyed feeding the blue jays, walking to town and perusing around the area checking out the views. Would definitely stay at this cabin again.

The cabin was quiet, relaxing, and had everything that we needed for a short getaway. I loved that this property was back away from the street. My kids and dogs loved exploring around the property and my dogs loved the fenced yard. We were able to relax in the spa and had everything that we could possibly need provided by the cabin- including beach towels! Every single person that I spoke with between the booking, check-in, and check-out process was friendly, helpful, and very welcoming.

Sky Rock Lodge was a delightful and cozy cabin retreat. Ample space for the four of us, lovely fireplace, windows to enjoy the outside snow, space for games, great kitchen, private master bedrooms and an unbeatable loft bedroom. Although we had extra beds and could have taken one of the masters, three of us chose to share the cozy loft! Management went above and beyond servicing us... kudos to each of them, thank you!

We were in town to visit family in nearby Indian Wells.Condo was very clean and well laid out and furnished. As it was end of April things were quiet in the transition from winter to summer heat. Pool was just across the very lightly traveled road and well maintained as was the whole property and the rental itself. We'd be happy to stay here again.

This home was in a great location, beautiful home very nicely decorated with all necessary amenities! We love golf and were able to get out to play, enjoyed the pool and the patio in the evenings. Will definitely be returning, thank you Spirit Vacations and to the owners!

We had such a relaxing and fun weekend. There was plenty of room for our large family, a large kitchen table to enjoy meals together and play games, a short walk to town along the creek. We would highly recommend this house! Thank you!

The Treelodge was a wonderful experience for me and my family while I coached at the summer music program. It's very spacious and equipped with everything you need. You step out into nature and walks all around. It's a 5 minute walk to town and next to a playground area for children. The house was clean, lovely linens and overall a fantastic experience.

We had a very nice weekend at the cabin. The only thing I would recommend is putting Blinds or Curtains in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom. We've stayed at this cabin before and it's very clean and is located in a very nice neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again

"one of the best VRBO's you have ever arrainged for us".... this is from my employee and his family that I rented the cabin for. they thoroughly enjoyed their time there and could not find anything to complain about.... they stated that everything was as pictured...the kitchen was fully stocked and everything worked. it was also close to the town square without the crowds.

Simply stated- we just got incredibly lucky with the snow in March, my sons had never seen snow and wow did we see snow!! The lodge was incredible, great location and just beautiful- if your looking for a cabin/lodge, look no further!!

We had a nice, relaxing time staying at Lilac House. The fireplace was great, and the place was a good size for the 2 of us (though there is another bedroom for guests). The place was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, and was a very short drive to town. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and have stayed with New Spirit several times and this last time didn't disappoint. Lilac has plenty of room inside for two, a charming and comfortable living and dining area, all with wooded and scenic views. The fireplace is a must!

I&#x2019;ve been renting g from new spirit vacation rentals since 2021 and I love all their homes very clean accommodating the rentals this rental is very close to town we walked to town it&#x2019;s just down the street about a 10 min walk very quiet and the home had air conditioning a plus it was very hot 4 th of July weekend very large home it says 4 bedroom but can easily be a 5 bedroom plenty of room and beds me and my family enjoyed our stay I&#x2019;m never disappointed with new spirit rentals highly recommend

We loved our long weekend in Idyllwild at Golden Sunshine. This is a very charming, welcoming home with everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the woods. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking great meals, the living spaces were great for playing games, watching movies and hanging out with friends. We spent some time playing games on the deck and would have loved a few more adirondack chairs for watching the sunset, but other than that we had the best time. Would recommend for couples and families looking for a spacious home in a relaxing environment with excellent views. Also, an easy 7 min drive to town for food and amenities.

Our original rental was cancelled suddenly, and we were offered this house--a really, what a gift that was.<br/><br/>The home is spacious and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked (though items like sugar or oil may need to be purchased), and the hot tub is dreamy. <br/><br/>The tv has wifi compatibility and some apps (Netflix for sure)--but the tv is pretty tiny and there is a VCR (no DVD). <br/><br/>The home is very close to city center--it is walkable. We strongly recommend the doughnut shop in town.<br/><br/>

We enjoyed our stay at Idyllwild. It is a beautiful village with lots of hiking trails around. The cabin was great &#x2013; spacious, clean, and had more than we expected. The jacuzzi, after long hikes, was delightful. We liked that we could walk to the center of the village within 10 min. The village offers art galleries, gift shops, and excellent restaurants. Our kids loved the painting ceramics class. Two hours away from LA is an easy drive and a great place to visit.

This rental made for a perfect weekend getaway. It was a cozy cabin with plenty of room for our guests. The deck and view in the photos do not disappoint. We had bright sunrise for coffee each morning and cool sky colors each evening.

Our party consisted of three brothers in our 70&#x2019;s and 80&#x2019;s. Two brothers are from out of state. The inside of the home was spotless. The rooms were expansive. We has some problems with. The TV (looking for local, live programming) but soon understood what you see is what you get. The bid selling point is the view. It is spectacular. All in all, it was great!

We had a very nice time. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. We would love to stay there again.

Great place and very comfortable. I would like to add that the driveway is steep, the car port extremely small ( able to park a van but a real squeeze to get out) and the railroad ties are loose and uneven. Plenty of dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. I would stay here again.

It was simply fantastic! I work 11 hours a day, 5 days a week and occasional Saturdays and Sundays. Needless to say it was a much needed rest for me. To be one with Mother Nature was fantastic. The accommodations provided everything we needed. We will certainly book again direct (New Spirit) this time to save added charges.

Great Family Time.

We had an amazing time staying at Grande Vista in Idyllwild! The views were absolutely stunning and should sell you on the place on its own, but the house was incredibly cozy and heightened the experience even more. One of our nights, the winds knocked out the Idyllwild power supply (which can happen in the mountains), but New Spirit Vacation Homes was so helpful in bringing us flashlights and supplies! Honestly, that night with no power, looking at the amazing stars is one of my favorite memories from the trip! Thanks so much for making our stay so relaxing, safe, and wonderful!

We rent in Idyllwild often and this is one of the nicer places we've stayed. They pay attention to small details and aren't afraid to make higher quality items available for their guests. And the property itself is very inviting and great use of space. We will definitely be back!

Moonlight Mountain Retreat accommodated our family of 8 with ease. Plenty of bedding and towels, and i was pleasantly surprised to find even the mattress cover on the pull out couches were clean! Kitchen was well stocked. It was quiet, peaceful, and really a beautiful setting, yet just a few minutes drive to town so it was easy to make as many trips as we wanted. We had lots of fun with the pool table and shuffle board, and the multiple TV&#x2019;s were great. The house is so unique and all of the wood working is gorgeous. Even though it was extra hot weather and the house doesn&#x2019;t have AC, the rental provided fans, there is actually quite a bit of shade over some areas of the house, and at night the temp was perfect for sleeping with the windows open. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent a weekend here and couldn't have asked for more. The staff was incredibly helpful and the cabin was amazing. Well stocked, lots of unexpected amenities, and overall a great stay. We'll definitely be back!

We spent 3 nights at Big Rock Creek Lodge and enjoyed every minute of it. The amenities are fantastic, the deck has a wonderful view with the calming sounds from Strawberry Creek, and everyone had a great time. My kids (7 and 5) really enjoyed the bunk beds and playing the different games. Would highly recommend, but there are several things to mention.<br/><br/>1. This is a nice home, meaning the wooden floors, countertops, and decor need care and attention. Not recommended for those with untidy children, as it will stain or damage the property, which means $$ from you.<br/><br/>2. The creek is not hikeable. There is private property all around. <br/><br/>3. The check in/out is a slight inconvenience, but an inconvenience regardless. You have to pick up and drop off the keys at the main office. Out of 20+ short term rentals I've stayed in, never have I had to drive to an office, find a lockbox out of 30 on a wall, and get the keys.<br/><br/>4. The really long emails and archaic contract PDFs just add to the inconvenience. I understand the need to convey important information, but please format it properly rather than sending 1000 words (yes, I counted). Also, contracts should be via an e-sign provider, not PDFs to fill out, scan and email back. And at the very least include check in/out and pricing details in the PDF before sending it out rather than having the customer fill it out.<br/><br/>5. The property managers are very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was nice knowing that I could send a text and get a response back within minutes typically.

Great cabin, great town, and a great stay altogether.

We came for my 61st B-day our first visit to Idyllwild. We enjoyed the huge fireplace & backyard. Trees and bubbing creek were magical! We loved the coziness of this Hidden Heaven we will return to this cabin to make more memories. Thank you so much

This home is perfect for big groups. The kitchen is well-stocked, there are so many decks from which to enjoy the views, and there's plenty of space in the house for everyone to spread out or come together for a meal and hang out. <br/>The hosts were responsive and asked us for feedback at the end of our stay. We didn't need to contact them for anything urgent while we were there.<br/>Short walk into town, quiet area. <br/><br/>The driveway is EXTREMELY steep, but you can also park on the street and walk up.
