My friends and I celebrated my 31st birthday at The Dome during the first weekend of December. We couldn't have asked for a better retreat where we could cozy up and play games, use the hottub, and take in some much needed r&r. To say this cabin was the definition of relaxation would be an understatement. It also had everything we needed to cook our meals and make ourselves at home. We all agreed we will make an annual trip up to Idyllwild and wouldn't think of staying elsewhere.

Idyllwild is a hidden treasure and staying at the dome was the absolutely perfect accommodation for friends and I celebrating my fiancés birthday! The view from every window was breathe-taking! Especially watching the sunset in the jacuzzi. The location was secluded but still close to downtown. The entire home was decorated for Christmas, a sweet touch to a the impeccable unique home. The house was incredibly clean with heaps of linens. The rental company did an excellent job to make sure we were well taken care of.

We came to Idyllwild with our daughter, son-in-law, son and our dogs to celebrate my 65th birthday. The home is well stocked and super homey. The view is everything, and the hot tub was delightful! Two of the bedrooms are more like lofts, and the property isn't fully fenced, but our dogs don't bolt and we were with family so it was all good. They need to remove "ping pong table" from the listing, as the table is in the carport, folded up. Super convenient location and excellent property management.

We had a lovely stay at The View, and everybody we dealt with at New Spirit was friendly, helpful, and professional. The property has lovely outdoor areas and couldn't have been cleaner.

The only things people might want to know in advance are:

1. Two of the bedrooms on the upper levels have an open wall onto the living area, if noise/privacy is a concern.

2. There is some traffic noise from the highway that runs below the property, although it is largely screened from view by trees. This didn't bother us, and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and stargazing on the deck.

This is our second time staying here. We love it! The jacuzzi is so nice, already warm when we arrived. The house is clean and had everything we needed. Lidia was a great help!

This cabin was very comfortable, it had everything we needed. The views are beautiful, and it's close to town without being to close. We will be using this rental again in the future.

We could have just sat on the patio the entire time. Washing dishes was a pleasure because you could just stare out the window. The entire wall was windows so, wether you were outside or inside you see all the mountains and trees.

I spent a weekend here and it was absolutely magical. Surrounded by the forest you feel like you're living in a giant tree house. A tree huose with every convenience you could want!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay in this quiet comfy cabin with views of cedar trees out all the windows. The bed and couch were comfortable and we slept great every night. The kitchen was fully equipped with lots of small appliances as well which we appreciate as we cooked a few times. The stove, toilet and refrigerator seemed quite new. The cabin was clean when we arrived and the heat was on so it felt welcoming right away. The cabin reminded me of a place I used to stay in as a kid with my family. The property management company kept us well informed and we had an easy check in and out. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

My son loved climbing to the loft. I enjoyed the location with a forest for a backyard. I think there is a deer trail that runs through it, two walked through the day we left. The carpet and some details were a bit dated, but that’s about the only thing I could say about the place. Loved having a wood burning fireplace.

We had 3 lovely days in Idyllwild to hike, explore, shop and snuggle. No snow, but chilly and the comfortable beds and awesome heater made nights cozy and comfortable. The location of the property makes for an easy, short drive, or walk to town. Yet distanced enough to be private and off the beaten path, and quiet. The design of the home provides lots of privacy too, with bedrooms on either end. We loved the extra dining space and used the big table to start a puzzle. The cabin felt like a home with all the amenities, thoughtful touches, and mountain decor. We will return and I would highly recommend the property and management staff to friends. New Spirit staff were helpful and kind. We enjoyed great pizza at Idyllwild pizza, enjoyed the brewery food and drink, Red Kettle did not disappoint, and have a small addition to the chocolate at El Buen Cacao.

My family had a great time at this lovely cottage. We enjoyed feeding the blue jays, walking to town and perusing around the area checking out the views. Would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Fully stocked kitchen. The hot tub was perfect. We also loved the fireplace . 2 private bedrooms and 3rd room is up in the loft with 2 twin and 1 full beds. Would definitely stay here again.

We recently got away to this perfect mountain cabin. Idyllwild is such a cute town with breathtaking scenery. The house was well maintained and had all the listed amenities. The bunk house was perfect for the kids and the two bedrooms were great with comfortable beds and plenty of linen. The hot tub was fun for the kids and we were lucky enough to have snow and use the driveway as a sledding hill. Such a perfect weekend, thank you.

This home was in a great location, beautiful home very nicely decorated with all necessary amenities! We love golf and were able to get out to play, enjoyed the pool and the patio in the evenings. Will definitely be returning, thank you Spirit Vacations and to the owners!

The Treelodge was a wonderful experience for me and my family while I coached at the summer music program. It's very spacious and equipped with everything you need. You step out into nature and walks all around. It's a 5 minute walk to town and next to a playground area for children. The house was clean, lovely linens and overall a fantastic experience.

We had a very nice weekend at the cabin. The only thing I would recommend is putting Blinds or Curtains in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom. We've stayed at this cabin before and it's very clean and is located in a very nice neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again

This home is a 24 hour delight. No matter the time of day as long as the moon is out, you can step out on the deck and enjoy the beauty and quiet of the Mountains. It is close enough to the center of town to hear the activities of the day waft over the pines but not close enough to become annoyed with traffic noise. Lots of stairs to help build your leg muscles through daily living. New appliances and the staff responded quickly to any of our concerns. Lovely visit.

Close to down town and shops, we were so relaxed after lock our self up from COVID-19. This was a treat for us and my dogs.

My wife and have stayed with New Spirit several times and this last time didn't disappoint. Lilac has plenty of room inside for two, a charming and comfortable living and dining area, all with wooded and scenic views. The fireplace is a must!

We had a great stay! The house is well kept and clean and spacious. There was a foot of snow on the ground when we arrived and it made for a perfect vacation.

My husband and I loved our stay. It was the perfect little cottage for two. The room was clean and had everything we needed. A mini fridge, hot plate, and utensils. Plenty of towels and an A/C unit inside. The hot tub was so great to have and made the stay extra special. The front desk service at check in and out was great too and they were very accommodating when we had trouble figuring out the outside lights for the hot tub. The place is also walking distance to the town which was an added bonus. Would come back for a quiet little get away again!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. We wanted a quiet little getaway in the mountains, and it was exactly what we got. The addition of the hot tub may have been the best part! Proximity to the town was hugely helpful, just a short walk in. The only thing I would recommend is more floor mats/rugs (the floor gets cold in the winter),and perhaps a second wastebasket for the bathroom. Otherwise, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Our time at Golden Sunshine was magical. I t is a peaceful place perched on top of the mountainside. We sat on the wonderful wrap around deck and watched the sunset. We were there for a brief time but felt as if we got a lovely respite which renew and reentered us. Thank you for all that the New spirit star did to make our stay so great.

Dealing with New Spirit was very pleasant. Everything was exactly as expected and the Home was fabulous. 3 great bedrooms and a really exceptional property that was fully stocked with everything that we needed. I highly rate the rental property as well as New Spirit and would certainly use their services and stay at "on the rocks" in the future.

This property was clean and beautifully maintained. They had all the amenities you need to stay as your home away from home. The hot tub was a great way to relax and hang out after hiking too. The only thing we would say is that the mattresses need to be updated in all bedrooms. They were either to firm or soft.

Beautiful, peaceful property with unique view, enough room for big family/friends reunion , walking distance to downtown and trails.

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids, and had the most amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The living area and kitchen have a lovely view of the trees and the lake, which makes breakfast a fantastic experience. The house heating system works well and the fireplace helps as well. The house is also only about 8 min drive from the Village. Overall, it was a 10/10.

We had a very nice time. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. We would love to stay there again.

The cabin was huge and had plenty of up to date amenities. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Close enough to the main village area and the property had plenty of parking for our two vehicles. The heater and fireplace worked great at keeping the cabin warm even with the snow outside. Beds were comfortable and tons of room to lounge around.

It was simply fantastic! I work 11 hours a day, 5 days a week and occasional Saturdays and Sundays. Needless to say it was a much needed rest for me. To be one with Mother Nature was fantastic. The accommodations provided everything we needed. We will certainly book again direct (New Spirit) this time to save added charges.

Everything was as presented. The deck was amazing. We spent a lot of time outside, but were perfectly content to stay at the house rather than sightseeing. We were out each night shooting photos of the Milky Way perfectly framed between the trees off the deck. The house was not for people with significant disabilities, but we were very content there. Thanks for a great stay!

We had 5 wonderful days to spend with our 2 dogs and older kids. They delivered wood for us and the home provided all necessary needs to stay in the best comfort. The balcony view was amazing! Watched the hawks screech and soar right over our heads. The home doorways was blessed and we felt warm and protected. The tub is in the floor which was weird but cool! The loft bedroom again wake up to a beautiful sunrise over looking the mountain trees and some snow. This is our 2nd time with Spirit. Love love love it!!

Two small families and two dogs were the perfect size for this home. We all loved the big beautiful backyard and the hot tub was super clean. The house had a homey feel it was very updated and clean and decorated in great taste. It’s super close to town and the nature center so we enjoyed our daily excursions

When you go to IDY you want to relax and enjoy the town... and that is exactly what you get staying at the Cricket Mountain Home. This house is on a flat lot close to town center. Very clean inside and out. Not a lot of clutter and everything is staged nicely. Enough room for 6 comfortably to move around the house. The stairs are unique and love the openness in the kitchen for all to gather over a cup of coffee while taking in the morning view of the backyard.
Very quiet since you are not on a main road to enjoy the backyard to its fullest. many areas to sit, unwind, and just look at the beautiful landscapes while your doggie runs around the yard. The owner provides nuts & bird seed which is a very nice touch.
We enjoyed the jacuzzi both nights with wine and time to ourselves.
Very dog friendly to include several dog beds, toys and doggie bags. No need to pack all of your dogs items for the trip, its already there! We were able to hike with our dog on the Ernie Maxwell Trail, so don't leave your puppy at home, IDY is a dog friendly place.
The management team was very helpful, and the home was spotless. I plan on renting there again because it was perfect!

The cabin was perfect for family of nine (5 teens, 4 adults). The best feature was the beautiful view on the ample deck. After long day, it was nice to be able to relax in the Jacuzzi, play pool, and enjoy a hot meal that we cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. We would return here in a heartbeat. Bring sleep eye masks so the sun doesn't wake you in the morning. There are no windows coverings in the bedrooms.

We rented this property for a weekend family trip and everyone absolutely loved it! The patio had enough seating for the whole family and the view was amazing. There were plenty of games available for the kids to keep them entertained and it was spacious enough that everyone wasn’t crammed together in the house. The property management were extremely nice and responded quickly when we had a concern. We will definitely be renting from them again in the future!

The home is beautiful and very well equipped. It had all the spices, linens, pots pans, decent internet, very nice furnishings. Everything was just a little nice than expected.
