My friends and I celebrated my 31st birthday at The Dome during the first weekend of December. We couldn't have asked for a better retreat where we could cozy up and play games, use the hottub, and take in some much needed r&r. To say this cabin was the definition of relaxation would be an understatement. It also had everything we needed to cook our meals and make ourselves at home. We all agreed we will make an annual trip up to Idyllwild and wouldn't think of staying elsewhere.

We really enjoyed staying at the Dome property. It was really beautiful and comfortable. We felt they paid attention to the the things that matter in a rental. Temperature, good towels, soft sheets, kitchen stocked, good wifi, nice tv, easy check in ans check out. The driveway is a little scary and would be impossible in ice conditions for me to manage but the property was really great.

Home has an excellent location and layout; all rooms open into the central living room, which has expansive glass to capture the mountaintop view. Bedrooms on three levels--each with its own bathroom.

We have been vacationing at Lilly Rock Lodge for about 5 Years. We love the tasteful rustic cabin decor, the open floor plan which allows for comfortable family gatherings. We love everything - pool table, games, jacuzzi, outdoor deck ,multiple window views of Lilly rock and surrounding Mountains. The kitchen has all the necessary cookware to cook a family meal. Thank you for continuing to provide an awesome experience. The Spirit rental company was excellent providing the information we needed for an awesome stay.

Wonderful! Incredible views. Great decor. Everything you need. Deck and hot tub are lovely. One of the best rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Management did a great job too.

Amazing Place, everything worked just fine!

Christmas holiday in Idylwild. Cottage was perfect. Very clean and well appointed. There was even a full size/decorated Christmas tree in the living room. Nestled among the pine trees with a large deck. Great location - easy walk to the center of town. Property manager was very helpful and responsive.

Went up during the snow storm. Had a great time. The yard is awesome. I will rent it in the summer so we can use the back yard and bbq. Loved the old stove.

We had a wonderful time at Sky Rock Lodge. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of linens. Spirit Vacations staff were all very friendly and responsive. The location was perfect; being able to walk to the creek and town was convenient. We will definitely

We were in town to visit family in nearby Indian Wells.Condo was very clean and well laid out and furnished. As it was end of April things were quiet in the transition from winter to summer heat. Pool was just across the very lightly traveled road and well maintained as was the whole property and the rental itself. We'd be happy to stay here again.

This home was in a great location, beautiful home very nicely decorated with all necessary amenities! We love golf and were able to get out to play, enjoyed the pool and the patio in the evenings. Will definitely be returning, thank you Spirit Vacations and to the owners!

What a beautiful home! The Tree House is right along the creek, close to town, beautiful large living room that was open to kitchen and dining areas. Many updates throughout the house that showed the owner cares about maintaining a nice property. Great for our large group with kids. The kids loved the loft, there were lots of games, and great creek exploration right outside. The scenery from the patio was lovely. We did lots of bird and squirrel watching and grilling out there. We even roasted marshmallows on the fire pit. We could stroll along the creek (considered a "hike" for our toddlers, but only a half mile) right into town. Easy access to the park for the kids and the great new brewery for the adults (though the kids loved bocce ball there too). Location and condition were amazing! <br/><br/>Other notes: There is one bedroom that is significantly smaller than others, so family room equity was a challenge (which it always seems to be). ALso, we had an incident where a glass lamp shade fell from the central ceiling fan. Monica from New Spirit was easily reached in the late evening. She sent out a maid to clean and a repair man to take a look at it first thing in the morning. Since we could not use this central fan, they brought us additional fans (this was a VERY hot weekend) and a lovely bottle of wine. <br/><br/>All the employees we worked with were friendly and helpful, excellent customer service. We loved three gazing stars because we could walk to town . The driveway was not too steep so we were able to walk up and down without problems. Looking forward to go back

Our family stayed in "Three Gazing Stars" for 8 days. We had a lovely experience. My 2 year old was loving just walking in the woods and throwing sticks in Lake Hemet and Lake Fulmor. The hosts were attentive and gracious. We were extremely pleased and the time away from the city was just what we all needed. We will be back for sure! The only quibble I had was that there are rattlesnakes on the compound. I know, of course there are! But it would have been nice to see a reminder note in the welcome folder to keep it on our mind. We found this out the hard way as our dog got bit by a rattlesnake. Not anyone's fault of course but it was an unexpected bill. He's better by the way.

"one of the best VRBO's you have ever arrainged for us".... this is from my employee and his family that I rented the cabin for. they thoroughly enjoyed their time there and could not find anything to complain about.... they stated that everything was as pictured...the kitchen was fully stocked and everything worked. it was also close to the town square without the crowds.

We really liked the house, It was very clean and comfortable. If you are staying there and using the heat .. the downstairs gets really hot and the upstairs is chilly.. Close the downstairs vents for solution. The property management company is wonderful and caring. We needed a dvd cable and they came out on a Friday night and are very cheerful and professional. Location gets a 3 as it is a steep road and driveway and if you do not have a 4 wheel drive ice on the road can bea bit of a challenge. Overall a good experience, nicely laid out lots of room

My wife and have stayed with New Spirit several times and this last time didn't disappoint. Lilac has plenty of room inside for two, a charming and comfortable living and dining area, all with wooded and scenic views. The fireplace is a must!

The Wife fell in love with the cabin at frist sight.

The house was unique, big and very clean. Great location and 1/2 mile walk to town in the snow was fun!

The Dairy Farm was so lovey and well appointed. The uniqueness and charm added so much to our stay.

My daughter and I had a great experience and our cottage was really cute and the staff Was so helpful.

We had a lovely stay at this adorable studio. It was close to town, and came with it&#x2019;s own private gated yard and Hot tub. It was perfect for a get away to the mountains. Just charming.

We loved our long weekend in Idyllwild at Golden Sunshine. This is a very charming, welcoming home with everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the woods. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking great meals, the living spaces were great for playing games, watching movies and hanging out with friends. We spent some time playing games on the deck and would have loved a few more adirondack chairs for watching the sunset, but other than that we had the best time. Would recommend for couples and families looking for a spacious home in a relaxing environment with excellent views. Also, an easy 7 min drive to town for food and amenities.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The home very spacious and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The master bath with big tub and skylight was awesome. After a long day outdoors, we like to get cozy and the fireplace was so nice. The main living room furniture could use some updating with a larger sofa and bigger TV. The blinds were a bit difficult to put up and down. The bedding seemed old and could use new duvets, comforters and blankets. Overall, this place was great.

Very clean property. Beautiful, large back deck with nice views. The only downside is no central air conditioning, but there were box fans available.. Close to downtown Idyllwild.

Good location.

The Pinnacle turned out to be a perfect place for our family reunion held every Thanksgiving. There were beds for everyone, it was comfortable and well equipped. The large table was perfect for all our game playing, and the living room large enough for us to sit and chat. We loved using the hot tub while it was snowing, and the view was spectacular!!! We look forward to using it again next year.

This house was wonderful. It fit 16 people perfectly, and had most everything we could have needed! I highly recommend this place for anyone hosting a retreat or that has a big family. The stove wasn't working, and the hot tub was also not heating up all the way which was a bummer. I would definitely check right when you get there to make sure the hot tub works.

Great experience , very relaxing. Home was amazing very comfortable and clean. Very quiet location. We had local places to go eat and to the store . Overall amazing experience. Loved the home.

Well awaited stay. This lovely cabin was clean, well-stocked, plenty of room for our girl's weekend. "Just what the Dr ordered". The staff at New Spirit were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was as presented. The deck was amazing. We spent a lot of time outside, but were perfectly content to stay at the house rather than sightseeing. We were out each night shooting photos of the Milky Way perfectly framed between the trees off the deck. The house was not for people with significant disabilities, but we were very content there. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved this home. My husband and I both needed a getaway from the city, and it was so beautiful and serene. This house is an absolute dream home, beautiful architecture, stunning view, incredible deck, and still cozy and comfortable. We'd love to stay there again.

We were looking for the color changes in the trees and we were pleasantly pleased. Walking distance from the coffee shop : ), nestled among the trees, clean and warm. We came for my 61st B-day our first visit to Idyllwild. We enjoyed the huge fireplace & backyard. Trees and bubbing creek were magical! We loved the coziness of this Hidden Heaven we will return to this cabin to make more memories. Thank you so much

We stayed at the Moonlight Mountain... beautiful... it was an adventure in itself... Clean, very spacious with great views. Close to town (not walkable. The kitchen was well appointed. We have 6 grandchildren all older and they loved it too&#xD83D;&#xDC95;

Peaceful Pines was absolutely perfect for a mountain getaway! It was so cozy and our dog loved the big backyard!

We had a wonderful experience. The location was amazingly beautiful surrounded by variety of trees and with the mountain very visible. It was peaceful and quiet. We loved the art and crystals and feeling within the home and it had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and prepare some of our meals. The staff were responsive and attentive with caring spirit.

Fern Valley Cottage is a wonderful place to stay, and the management team is excellent.

This is my second time staying at Sunset Perch, and I wouldn&#x2019;t be surprised if we stay here again! This home is great for a small group or a couple. We loved enjoyed the view from the deck, cooking meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, and relaxing in the hot tub.

The home and patio exceeded expectations, and the kitchen was a chef's dream with all the high-quality pots, pans, knives, pressure cooker, crockpot, and cooking utensils you could ever need. The beds were very soft with many blankets and pillows provided. A few notes:<br/>1. There are a LOT of stairs, which isn't evident in the pictures. Stairs to get to the house, stairs down to the deck, stairs down to one room, stairs up to the bathroom. <br/>2. The microwave is very small and very high. One of us couldn't reach it. <br/>3. There a lot of mosquitos on the deck, so we actually didn't use it as much as I thought we would. <br/>The coffee pot wasn't working, but they replaced that within the same day, so our coffee drinkers only missed out one morning. The blender also didn't work, but we brought our own, so we're ok. Overall, the home was beautiful and very close to town, and the management team was very responsive.
