This place was perfect for our group of 8! Everything you need is in this cabin! The toaster oven is even a Breville brand! Also, there’s no point in leaving because the views are absolutely amazing & the hot tub while watching the sunset is very relaxing! My husband brought his Sky Light Projector, which looked really cool on the ceiling of the dome at night time! I would book with this company again because of how clean & attention to detail everything was!

We came to Idyllwild with our daughter, son-in-law, son and our dogs to celebrate my 65th birthday. The home is well stocked and super homey. The view is everything, and the hot tub was delightful! Two of the bedrooms are more like lofts, and the property isn't fully fenced, but our dogs don't bolt and we were with family so it was all good. They need to remove "ping pong table" from the listing, as the table is in the carport, folded up. Super convenient location and excellent property management.

The title of the rental lives up to it's name, the views are amazing. The home is very comfortable although the upstairs rooms tend to get a little warm. The shower in the one bathroom is a little odd with three shower curtains that surround it and spill into the bottom of the tub.

Our 15-year-old daughter was looking for a special place to have a birthday sleepover with friends. They LOVED this house, and so did we. Wonderful views, lots of privacy, very clean and thoughtfully laid out. Everyone had a wonderful stay.

The cabin setup is nice. The upstairs loft has 3 separate rooms, tho there are no walls separating them to the ceiling.Not much privacy there, but that didn't matter to us. The downstairs bedroom was roomy and clean. The washer/dryer is in the bedroom closet, tho I did not use it. There is a separate downstairs bathroom that was sufficient as well. I loved the SUPER high ceiling in the living and dining area. Also loved that most of the walls facing the back were either sliding glass doors or large windows with views. Very relaxing to look out of. There is a hot tub on the rear porch and several seating areas on the porch. I wish there was central a/c as we did not see there was. My dogs got heated at times, but I found fans that I set up in the living room and that helped. Also, my wish having dogs was that their was fencing on the property, but that is a personal thing that some may not agree with. My adult sons enjoyed hiking at the many trails nearby. They did say to warn of hornets as a few people in their group got stung. The center of town was close. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

The home was very cozy and relaxing with the sound of the creek behind. All of the accommodations in the house were perfect!

Fabulous, architecturally stunning home. The view from the master bedroom is exquisite. Kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed and we appreciated the games and DVDs. We had some issues with warm water in the showers, otherwise everything was perfect.

This was our 2nd time staying here. Another great experience.

Amazing Place, everything worked just fine!

Love the Cozy Cottage. The name fits. It is very comfortable & has all the necessities for a great time. Love the large deck & the views of the forest. It feels as if one is away from it all & secluded but actually it&#x2019;s in walking distance to town.<br/>Found the inside to be very clean & ready for occupancy. The only issue that the owners need to be made aware of is the sorry condition of the deck & stairs. It is in dire need of repair & refinishing.

Had a great weekend staying at this cabin. The space was clean and well maintained. Nothing fancy, but that's not what we were looking for. No major issues, although a few recommendations would be: better lighting outside on porch, water pressure in shower not great, no AC (it was a hot weekend), directions to find property were a little confusing. But overall it was a nice quiet place to relax.

We had 3 lovely days in Idyllwild to hike, explore, shop and snuggle. No snow, but chilly and the comfortable beds and awesome heater made nights cozy and comfortable. The location of the property makes for an easy, short drive, or walk to town. Yet distanced enough to be private and off the beaten path, and quiet. The design of the home provides lots of privacy too, with bedrooms on either end. We loved the extra dining space and used the big table to start a puzzle. The cabin felt like a home with all the amenities, thoughtful touches, and mountain decor. We will return and I would highly recommend the property and management staff to friends. New Spirit staff were helpful and kind. We enjoyed great pizza at Idyllwild pizza, enjoyed the brewery food and drink, Red Kettle did not disappoint, and have a small addition to the chocolate at El Buen Cacao.

The cabin was quiet, relaxing, and had everything that we needed for a short getaway. I loved that this property was back away from the street. My kids and dogs loved exploring around the property and my dogs loved the fenced yard. We were able to relax in the spa and had everything that we could possibly need provided by the cabin- including beach towels! Every single person that I spoke with between the booking, check-in, and check-out process was friendly, helpful, and very welcoming.

The whole process was fairly simple and straightforward upon check in. Everything was as the pictures showed. Great view of the golf course as the 3rd green is in your backyard. My family came and watched me the play the 3rd and tee off on the par 3, 4th. Amenities are great down to the really nice air mattresses. Would stay and recommend again.

This home was in a great location, beautiful home very nicely decorated with all necessary amenities! We love golf and were able to get out to play, enjoyed the pool and the patio in the evenings. Will definitely be returning, thank you Spirit Vacations and to the owners!

The house is perfectly located right next to Strawberry Creek for those much needed moments with nature. It is also just a short hike and even shorter drive to the charming town center with the quaint shops and amazing restaurants. <br/>The house is fully equipped for cooking and entertainment. If the weather is nice, the porch will be your favorite room in the house, with super comfy chairs, a bbq and a propane fire pit. <br/>We used it for a family girl&#x2019;s weekend. It wasn&#x2019;t long enough.

The house is spacious and gorgeous. It was secluded and quiet but a very short walk to town. It has a large fenced in yard for dogs as well. Our family enjoyed our trip greatly in this cozy home.

The perfect retreat for a family and friends. Our daughter loved exploring the property and we all really enjoyed the layout of the space. Plenty of privacy with the separate upstairs and downstairs. An amazing library of books and games to enjoy and an absolutely beautiful deck with the most epic views of the mountains and rock formations surrounding Idyllwild. The hosts are so accommodating and friendly as well. Definitely will come back.

We wanted a safe social distancing vacation and found the peace and family time we were looking for in thus delightful cabin. Even the older kids fell in love. Everyone had their own room and bed and the main room with gorgeous views was perfect for game nights.

We really liked the house, It was very clean and comfortable. If you are staying there and using the heat .. the downstairs gets really hot and the upstairs is chilly.. Close the downstairs vents for solution. The property management company is wonderful and caring. We needed a dvd cable and they came out on a Friday night and are very cheerful and professional. Location gets a 3 as it is a steep road and driveway and if you do not have a 4 wheel drive ice on the road can bea bit of a challenge. Overall a good experience, nicely laid out lots of room

I&#x2019;ve been renting g from new spirit vacation rentals since 2021 and I love all their homes very clean accommodating the rentals this rental is very close to town we walked to town it&#x2019;s just down the street about a 10 min walk very quiet and the home had air conditioning a plus it was very hot 4 th of July weekend very large home it says 4 bedroom but can easily be a 5 bedroom plenty of room and beds me and my family enjoyed our stay I&#x2019;m never disappointed with new spirit rentals highly recommend

We had a great stay! The house is well kept and clean and spacious. There was a foot of snow on the ground when we arrived and it made for a perfect vacation.

We loved our long weekend in Idyllwild at Golden Sunshine. This is a very charming, welcoming home with everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the woods. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking great meals, the living spaces were great for playing games, watching movies and hanging out with friends. We spent some time playing games on the deck and would have loved a few more adirondack chairs for watching the sunset, but other than that we had the best time. Would recommend for couples and families looking for a spacious home in a relaxing environment with excellent views. Also, an easy 7 min drive to town for food and amenities.

Our time at Golden Sunshine was magical. I t is a peaceful place perched on top of the mountainside. We sat on the wonderful wrap around deck and watched the sunset. We were there for a brief time but felt as if we got a lovely respite which renew and reentered us. Thank you for all that the New spirit star did to make our stay so great.

This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. Very comfortable, close to town but still felt away from it all. Loved the art work, the spa, and being nestled in the trees. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Hidden Heaven greatly exceeded our expectations! The home was clean, not cluttered, felt homey, quiet! Furniture was older but felt clean, and the beds were comfortable for us! Adored the deck and view over the creek! We enjoyed dinners outside every evening! My three little kids loved exploring the outside perimeter of the cabin! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and well labeled, which I really appreciated! Very close to the village (like a 2 minute drive). We can't wait to return!

My friends and I stayed at this house for one night. Everything was absolutely gorgeous. The house was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well equipped and oh my God what a beautiful view!!!

We came here for a grief retreat with our therapist and the setting was absolutely everything we expected

We had a really nice stay. Monica was extremely responsive when we needed something. The views from the deck were stunning. The kids also had so much fun and we would stay here again.

Great place and very comfortable. I would like to add that the driveway is steep, the car port extremely small ( able to park a van but a real squeeze to get out) and the railroad ties are loose and uneven. Plenty of dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. I would stay here again.

Our time in the Bears Den Cabin was exceptional. Plenty of room and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and flatware. We did have a you bird stuck in the fireplace when we arrived but we got him out safely.

We had an amazing time staying at Grande Vista in Idyllwild! The views were absolutely stunning and should sell you on the place on its own, but the house was incredibly cozy and heightened the experience even more. One of our nights, the winds knocked out the Idyllwild power supply (which can happen in the mountains), but New Spirit Vacation Homes was so helpful in bringing us flashlights and supplies! Honestly, that night with no power, looking at the amazing stars is one of my favorite memories from the trip! Thanks so much for making our stay so relaxing, safe, and wonderful!

We were impressed by this home the moment we drove up and the good impressions kept coming as we entered. It&#x2019;s a beautiful place fully equipped with all the items you need to enjoy your stay. The unit was spotless and so well decorated. The kitchen is equipped with everything down to spices and olive oil. The jacuzzi was great and private, we used it everyday. The lot is large and we enjoyed watching the rabbits, squirrels and many birds. The bbq worked well too. We did lots of walking the neighborhood and also into town most days. It was a lovely stay.

Our family spent time between Christmas and New Year at the home. Everyone had a good time. We were a little caught off guard when the anticipated snow flurries turned into quite a blanket of snow and we weren&#x2019;t able to get our All Wheel Car out of the driveway and down the hill without sliding. Fortunately a guy named Kevin, on the snow assist list available from the rental company, came and dug us out for a reasonable price. The rooms were a bit cold even though there are a number of portable heaters, but they also provide a lot of blankets. The kitchen has most items you would need, including a crock pot, pans, baking utensils and plenty of plates, bowls, etc. The coffee pot had some issues in draining the water through the filter, but we made it work. All in all, a lovely home. We may try again during summer months when we can take greater advantage of the outdoor decking. Finally, the work working features throughout the home are amazing.

We loved this home. My husband and I both needed a getaway from the city, and it was so beautiful and serene. This house is an absolute dream home, beautiful architecture, stunning view, incredible deck, and still cozy and comfortable. We'd love to stay there again.

This was our first time renting through New Spirit Vacation Homes, although we've stayed in Idyllwild for years now. It was easily one of the best experiences with using a local vacation rental business. They were very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. I also they think they have a great selection of cabins to choose from and I can't wait to experience another one! <br/><br/>The Lazy Bear was adorable, full of special touches and vintage charm. The bed was super comfortable and I slept great. The kitchen actually had nice cookware and knives! What a surprise! We had no problem cooking all of our meals. We truly enjoyed the ambiance of the cabin between the great fireplace, comfortable furniture, and outdoor space.

If you are looking for a piece of paradise this property has it all. From stunning views to thoughtful amenities,we enjoyed our near perfect stay. The rustic decor was a welcoming blend of cabin charm with modern touches. The grounds are well kept and has a completely fenced in yard which was a huge bonus for me, as we have a service dog/s. We had a service issue during our stay and it was handled quickly and without any awkward conversation with the management company. The staff was prompt, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay beyond our expectations and will stay again in the future.

Everything was as described. The home was charming and very dog friendly. The surrounding area is gorgeous.

Fern Valley Cottage is a wonderful place to stay, and the management team is excellent.

The property was great! We had 11 people and all fit comfortably. The location, layout of the house, and amenities are exactly as described on the site. The house and surrounding land was clean and well maintained. Although the driveway is steep, it was easy to navigate; definitely recommend turning around at the top so as to make the departure easier. I appreciated the prompt response by the property manager about check in, check out, and the one time we had to call (we asked to have the trash removed as we filled the outside garbage cans before our check out date.) The town of Idyllwild itself was fantastic; there&#x2019;s a lot to do in the immediate neighborhood of the house, including hiking, shopping, fishing on Hemet Lake, enjoying the delicious restaurants (Atomic Cow and Idyllwild Pizza were our faves), and pottery painting at Earth Fire. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing vacation with extended family. Highly recommend!
