We've been meaning to stay here for years and finally went: saw a deer in the yard, nice of them to have binoculars and a telescope, if you expect to use a hot tub make sure to ask about it when you reserve. Ultimately check-in was very smooth and easy, but as an old-school paper person (who procrastinates) the request for a copy of ID before arrival was worrying. Everyone was pleasant and responsive during our stay (we got some help sorting out TV remotes).

I've stayed with New Spirit's properties a few times now and each time I am never disappointed. In fact, I'm surprised with how simple, fun, clean, organized and easy each stay is. I'm a big fan of this company and was blown away by this property. The view is amazing (hence the name). We stayed for 4th of July (2017) with a handful of friends and lounged on the deck while playing music and dipping in the hot tub. If you're looking for a great service and an easy, relaxing experience, New Spirit is for you. And so is The View!

We were all thrilled with this house and would absolutely stay here again. The house is even better in person and is spotless! Really unique property and that view is incredible. Great open floor plan, everything was perfect. Kids had a blast and we enjoyed the peaceful getaway.

As soon as we walked in we knew this place was going to be perfect! From the layout alone, to all the amenities, it made for such a great bday stay!! The creek was babbling behind us, creating the perfect ambience. And everything was supplied to accommodate our group of 8! Want to come back here over and over! Sunset Perch was the perfect location for our recent getaway. What a view!! Gorgeous sunrise and sunset. The cabin had everything to make our stay pleasant. Kitchen was equipped for all our cooking/baking needs. The bbq and hot tub was a big plus. Very peaceful location and cabin was very cozy and inviting. Love all the big windows. We could have just sat on the patio the entire time. Washing dishes was a pleasure because you could just stare out the window. The entire wall was windows so, wether you were outside or inside you see all the mountains and trees.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is close to town and is in a quiet area and very clean!

We had a lovely time, the "Cozy Cottage" does indeed live up to its name :) This quiet, peaceful location is ideal and yet its proximity to the town is a real plus :)

My three children and I enjoyed our stay at the rental very much. We were close enough to downtown and close enough to the trails that we enjoyed both with no time wasted in commute. I recommend it.

Nana and Papa's place couldn't be more perfect! The layout of the home allows everyone space and with plenty of areas to sit outside it was tranquil.The location of the property was perfect as it is close to town and yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the night.

Fully stocked kitchen. The hot tub was perfect. We also loved the fireplace . 2 private bedrooms and 3rd room is up in the loft with 2 twin and 1 full beds. Would definitely stay here again.

We recently got away to this perfect mountain cabin. Idyllwild is such a cute town with breathtaking scenery. The house was well maintained and had all the listed amenities. The bunk house was perfect for the kids and the two bedrooms were great with comfortable beds and plenty of linen. The hot tub was fun for the kids and we were lucky enough to have snow and use the driveway as a sledding hill. Such a perfect weekend, thank you.

We were in town to visit family in nearby Indian Wells.Condo was very clean and well laid out and furnished. As it was end of April things were quiet in the transition from winter to summer heat. Pool was just across the very lightly traveled road and well maintained as was the whole property and the rental itself. We'd be happy to stay here again.

The Treehouse was a great house for multiple families to stay at. We loved that each room had its own bathroom. The upstairs loft was a great place for the kids to play and hangout. We enjoyed the deck and playing in the snow in the yard. We never had to leave the house. We would highly recommend staying here. The only small issues were the house was not ready at check in time and we ran out of toilet paper during our stay.

We had such a relaxing and fun weekend. There was plenty of room for our large family, a large kitchen table to enjoy meals together and play games, a short walk to town along the creek. We would highly recommend this house! Thank you!

We loved three gazing stars because we could walk to town . The driveway was not too steep so we were able to walk up and down without problems. Looking forward to go back

Simply stated- we just got incredibly lucky with the snow in March, my sons had never seen snow and wow did we see snow!! The lodge was incredible, great location and just beautiful- if your looking for a cabin/lodge, look no further!!

We had a great stay! The house is well kept and clean and spacious. There was a foot of snow on the ground when we arrived and it made for a perfect vacation.

The house was unique, big and very clean. Great location and 1/2 mile walk to town in the snow was fun!

Property is small but not tiny. It will be OK for a couple and feels very cozy. The private backyard isn't much, but the spa is spectacular, especially at night. The property is in a shared area with another house, so parking might be tricky if the other house has more than a couple vehicles. Just a few minutes walk from the main town area and great for star gazing or just generally relaxing.

We loved our long weekend in Idyllwild at Golden Sunshine. This is a very charming, welcoming home with everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the woods. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking great meals, the living spaces were great for playing games, watching movies and hanging out with friends. We spent some time playing games on the deck and would have loved a few more adirondack chairs for watching the sunset, but other than that we had the best time. Would recommend for couples and families looking for a spacious home in a relaxing environment with excellent views. Also, an easy 7 min drive to town for food and amenities.

Our time at Golden Sunshine was magical. I t is a peaceful place perched on top of the mountainside. We sat on the wonderful wrap around deck and watched the sunset. We were there for a brief time but felt as if we got a lovely respite which renew and reentered us. Thank you for all that the New spirit star did to make our stay so great.

Nice place for peace & quiet. Comfortable beds, a lot of areas for family. Close to town. Nice hot tub. I'd book again.

Our stay at Hidden Heaven greatly exceeded our expectations! The home was clean, not cluttered, felt homey, quiet! Furniture was older but felt clean, and the beds were comfortable for us! Adored the deck and view over the creek! We enjoyed dinners outside every evening! My three little kids loved exploring the outside perimeter of the cabin! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and well labeled, which I really appreciated! Very close to the village (like a 2 minute drive). We can't wait to return!

Everything was perfect: From the comfortable and well-equipped house, to the spectacular view, to the awesome hot tub. The people from New Spirit Vacation Homes were cordial, available and very accommodating on check-in and check-out times.

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids, and had the most amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The living area and kitchen have a lovely view of the trees and the lake, which makes breakfast a fantastic experience. The house heating system works well and the fireplace helps as well. The house is also only about 8 min drive from the Village. Overall, it was a 10/10.

We had a very nice time. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. We would love to stay there again.

The cabin was huge and had plenty of up to date amenities. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Close enough to the main village area and the property had plenty of parking for our two vehicles. The heater and fireplace worked great at keeping the cabin warm even with the snow outside. Beds were comfortable and tons of room to lounge around.

Our time in the Bears Den Cabin was exceptional. Plenty of room and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and flatware. We did have a you bird stuck in the fireplace when we arrived but we got him out safely.

Everything was as presented. The deck was amazing. We spent a lot of time outside, but were perfectly content to stay at the house rather than sightseeing. We were out each night shooting photos of the Milky Way perfectly framed between the trees off the deck. The house was not for people with significant disabilities, but we were very content there. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The moment you walk in you are blown away by the view. It gets even better when you walk up to the master bedroom. Definitely coming back. The house is a little old, but everything works great.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this quiet and cozy cabin. The garden was perfect for our dogs to run around and the shady backyard was also a great place for our young children to explore.

This is such a lovely, impeccably decorated cabin that feels like home. It is the most well-stocked cabin we have ever stayed at! Anything we looked for in the kitchen or otherwise, was there!

My children, grandchildren and I celebrated an early Christmas and this spectacular home met and exceeded all our expectations. Moonlight Mnt Retreat is well worth the money. It was clean, well maintained and had plenty for the youngsters to keep them entertained. The views from the amazing deck are breathtaking and a fabulous gathering place for the adults to relax and enjoy each others company. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a traditional Christmas feast. Hats off to the owner and New Spirit Vacation Homes for providing such an amazing home.

We got lost because we didnt follow staff instructions &#xD83E;&#xDD26;&#x200D;&#x2640;&#xFE0F; but after finding the home we were over the moon with this house!! Has a well stocked game room which served us well as I have children, I HARDLY SAW THEM ALL WEEKEND!!!! Talk about a VACATION &#xD83D;&#xDE0E;. The upstairs living area has a beautiful LARGE sectional and VIDEO GAMES!!! Hardly saw my husband all weekend: SCORE!!! jk, the house is well stocked and beautiful. The views were amazing, although finding it was a bit of a mission but totally worth it! One thing though, on our last day my daughter found herself face to face with a small mouse. I spoke with the management company and suggested they move the location on their trashcans as it came in through where those cans are. Overall, AWESOME HOUSE, would consider going back if the EXTRA guest isnt occupying it, ha ha ha.

This was our first time renting through New Spirit Vacation Homes, although we've stayed in Idyllwild for years now. It was easily one of the best experiences with using a local vacation rental business. They were very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. I also they think they have a great selection of cabins to choose from and I can't wait to experience another one! <br/><br/>The Lazy Bear was adorable, full of special touches and vintage charm. The bed was super comfortable and I slept great. The kitchen actually had nice cookware and knives! What a surprise! We had no problem cooking all of our meals. We truly enjoyed the ambiance of the cabin between the great fireplace, comfortable furniture, and outdoor space.
