This rental went above and beyond our expectations. We had an incredible time, and we will remember this trip forever. The outdoor spaces were amazing, the fireplaces were inviting, and the sunsets in the hot tub were spectacular. The rental was very clean and very well stocked with everything you need to cook. Home has an excellent location and layout; all rooms open into the central living room, which has expansive glass to capture the mountaintop view. Bedrooms on three levels--each with its own bathroom.
We decided to rent a house to invite a few friends to spend the weekend with us and do an intimate wedding ceremony. The house was just beyond perfect! Super clean, cozy and comfortable for us and our 8 friends. We did the ceremony during the sunset at the deck and the view was breathtaking! I would recommend this house to everyone that wants to enjoy nature and escape from the daily routine, is the perfect getaway to spend with friends or family.

Came here for a long weekend with our extended family and had a great time. Lily Rock is a super well equipped house and a wonderful space, we couldn’t have asked for more.
Had a great time in Idyllwild. The house was great, lots of nice personal touches. The setting is beautiful, really feels out in the wilderness but just a couple of minutes into town. We will definitely return.
Great getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We are looking forward in returning to Idyllwild.
Sunset Perch was the perfect location for our recent getaway. What a view!! Gorgeous sunrise and sunset. The cabin had everything to make our stay pleasant. Kitchen was equipped for all our cooking/baking needs. The bbq and hot tub was a big plus. Very peaceful location and cabin was very cozy and inviting. Love all the big windows. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.
We could have just sat on the patio the entire time. Washing dishes was a pleasure because you could just stare out the window. The entire wall was windows so, wether you were outside or inside you see all the mountains and trees.
I had a good experience. The place was clean and had what we needed.
My three children and I enjoyed our stay at the rental very much. We were close enough to downtown and close enough to the trails that we enjoyed both with no time wasted in commute. I recommend it.
Sky Rock Lodge is very comfortable. We loved the location, the property itself, and the layout of the house. The kitchen was easy to use, the bedrooms private and nice, and the deck was lovely to have breakfast outside. We were lucky and saw live music every day of the 3 days in town and experienced a short thunderstorm!
Sky Rock Lodge was a delightful and cozy cabin retreat. Ample space for the four of us, lovely fireplace, windows to enjoy the outside snow, space for games, great kitchen, private master bedrooms and an unbeatable loft bedroom. Although we had extra beds and could have taken one of the masters, three of us chose to share the cozy loft! Management went above and beyond servicing us... kudos to each of them, thank you!
The whole process was fairly simple and straightforward upon check in. Everything was as the pictures showed. Great view of the golf course as the 3rd green is in your backyard. My family came and watched me the play the 3rd and tee off on the par 3, 4th. Amenities are great down to the really nice air mattresses. Would stay and recommend again.
We were in town to visit family in nearby Indian Wells.Condo was very clean and well laid out and furnished. As it was end of April things were quiet in the transition from winter to summer heat. Pool was just across the very lightly traveled road and well maintained as was the whole property and the rental itself. We'd be happy to stay here again.
We had a great time in this rental. It was clean and spacious and in a great location.
This is the second year that we have stayed at Treehouse Lodge over the Idyllwild Art Walk and Wine Festival weekend. Treehouse Lodge meets our needs for our family and is in walking distance to the village which we really like.
Our family consisting of 6 adults, 1 2-month-old child and 3 dogs had a great weekend in Idyllwild this last weekend. We stayed at the 3 Gazing Stars home and it was perfect. Great views and close to town. Couldn't ask anything better.
The house was beautiful! Very well stocked kitchen, and all the amenities we needed. The views from the deck were just spectacular, and the house was very clean. The property management was really great. Super fast to answer any questions we had.
As soon as approaching Crestview, front outlay of the cabin is very warm and welcoming. As soon as walking inside, your presented with ample wide living room that is very beautiful and esthetically pleasing and stress free. Big ample kitchen to cook and host friends and families and not to mention warm heating to counter the cold �� overall, my family and I were very pleased with crestview lodge!
We arrived at dusk and quickly built a fire. From the skylights above we could hear the rain and hunkered down with a couple good books from the owner’s library. We ate a pizza we bought from Fratello’s down in the village, and drifted off to sleep in the comfy bedroom upstairs. As we discovered, the downstairs has accommodations for 6 in two more bedrooms and full bath (the upstairs has a full bath as well). The skylit kitchen has every appliance and utensil imaginable, including brand new fridge and soundless dishwasher. The enormous wrap-around deck, partially under a large overhang, provided a great dog run when it was raining. The cabin is sited at the end of a private driveway, and angled for privacy. Hard to leave it a few days later, but we will be back!
I took my father on 3-night get-away in Idyllwild. We needed a one level home and a hot tub. This home was ideal. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very cozy. The only complaint I have is the shower in the second bedroom. I could not adjust the water temperature and could not use it.
My wife and have stayed with New Spirit several times and this last time didn't disappoint. Lilac has plenty of room inside for two, a charming and comfortable living and dining area, all with wooded and scenic views. The fireplace is a must!
I’ve been renting g from new spirit vacation rentals since 2021 and I love all their homes very clean accommodating the rentals this rental is very close to town we walked to town it’s just down the street about a 10 min walk very quiet and the home had air conditioning a plus it was very hot 4 th of July weekend very large home it says 4 bedroom but can easily be a 5 bedroom plenty of room and beds me and my family enjoyed our stay I’m never disappointed with new spirit rentals highly recommend
The Dairy Farm was so lovey and well appointed. The uniqueness and charm added so much to our stay.
The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our time, easy walk to town and all the restaurants and activities we wanted to do. Very relaxing and private. Never got internet, which according to the property manager is common in Idyllwild. So, I wouldn't come here if you needed to get work done. But for a relaxing, no tech trip, it was wonderful!

We loved our long weekend in Idyllwild at Golden Sunshine. This is a very charming, welcoming home with everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the woods. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking great meals, the living spaces were great for playing games, watching movies and hanging out with friends. We spent some time playing games on the deck and would have loved a few more adirondack chairs for watching the sunset, but other than that we had the best time. Would recommend for couples and families looking for a spacious home in a relaxing environment with excellent views. Also, an easy 7 min drive to town for food and amenities.

We loved the house and the hot tub on the deck was the best! 180 degree view with no other homes in sight. I welcome getaway and we would definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two day visit in the cool fall of Idyllwild. We were up here for a birthday celebration. The home is beautiful and located in a secluded area. The art throughout the home is just beautiful. Being a New Mexico native, I would love to know the history of the Native American dress. There was plenty of room and the hot tub birthday BBQ was a treat. I will be back.
Very clean property. Beautiful, large back deck with nice views. The only downside is no central air conditioning, but there were box fans available.. Close to downtown Idyllwild.
Place was beautiful and well kept. Only complaint would be that the hot tub did not fully heat up until the 2nd day. Otherwise, we fully enjoyed our stay.
We were a group of 12 adults on a work retreat. The house was perfect, spacious, well-appointed, and in a gorgeous location. We had everything we needed and it was clean and well maintained. Only downsides: The jacuzzi is very small and we would have liked a bigger one. Also, the smallest 'bedroom' is really like a closet with a rickety bunkbed in it.
This will forever go down as the single best experience as I have *EVER* had with a rental company, and I travel constantly! Every single person on the New Spirit team was more kind, hospitable, and accommodating than the next, and they took care of us in every way they knew how... and then some! The house we stayed in, The Pinnacle, was just immaculate and I am already planning our family reunion back in Idyllwild because I left so happy. Thank you all for your generosity of spirit and hospitality, can't wait to book with you again!
We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids, and had the most amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The living area and kitchen have a lovely view of the trees and the lake, which makes breakfast a fantastic experience. The house heating system works well and the fireplace helps as well. The house is also only about 8 min drive from the Village. Overall, it was a 10/10.
Our party consisted of three brothers in our 70’s and 80’s. Two brothers are from out of state. The inside of the home was spotless. The rooms were expansive. We has some problems with. The TV (looking for local, live programming) but soon understood what you see is what you get. The bid selling point is the view. It is spectacular. All in all, it was great!

Well awaited stay. This lovely cabin was clean, well-stocked, plenty of room for our girl's weekend. "Just what the Dr ordered". The staff at New Spirit were very friendly and helpful.
Everything was as presented. The deck was amazing. We spent a lot of time outside, but were perfectly content to stay at the house rather than sightseeing. We were out each night shooting photos of the Milky Way perfectly framed between the trees off the deck. The house was not for people with significant disabilities, but we were very content there. Thanks for a great stay!
Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The moment you walk in you are blown away by the view. It gets even better when you walk up to the master bedroom. Definitely coming back. The house is a little old, but everything works great.
We were impressed by this home the moment we drove up and the good impressions kept coming as we entered. It’s a beautiful place fully equipped with all the items you need to enjoy your stay. The unit was spotless and so well decorated. The kitchen is equipped with everything down to spices and olive oil. The jacuzzi was great and private, we used it everyday. The lot is large and we enjoyed watching the rabbits, squirrels and many birds. The bbq worked well too. We did lots of walking the neighborhood and also into town most days. It was a lovely stay.
The cabin was perfect for family of nine (5 teens, 4 adults). The best feature was the beautiful view on the ample deck. After long day, it was nice to be able to relax in the Jacuzzi, play pool, and enjoy a hot meal that we cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. We would return here in a heartbeat. Bring sleep eye masks so the sun doesn't wake you in the morning. There are no windows coverings in the bedrooms.
Lovely trip for 2 families! Lots of space for sleep and play! Really enjoy all the mountains had to offer. It was hard to find on the map and not well described but otherwise wonderful
Beautiful home within a 10 minute walk to downtown Idyllwild.
We spent 4 days in Idyllwild with our dog, the cabin was perfect for a short stay. The check-in was easy and on time, and check-out was a breeze. The cabin had everything we needed, a nice fenced in outdoor space, a well supplied kitchen, and super comfy beds. The location is also nice, it's a short walk into town and a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely look at other spots in the New Spirit portfolio for future getaways.
Perfect location, beautiful views, fun yard for the pups. It was super simple to rent, had everything we could of asked for. Perfect.
