This rental went above and beyond our expectations. We had an incredible time, and we will remember this trip forever. The outdoor spaces were amazing, the fireplaces were inviting, and the sunsets in the hot tub were spectacular. The rental was very clean and very well stocked with everything you need to cook. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you for a great family trip. We will definitely be booking with this company again.

Clean, well-maintained, and utterly charming. A few ants made their way indoors, but other than that, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great privacy, but still less than 5 minutes from everything in Idyllwild.

We had plenty of room to relax. Quiet areas for reading, a nice kitchen, and a pool table for family fun.

Upper Rim Rock is exactly as photographed, beautifully appointed, quiet, equally secluded and convenient. As much as it is close to other homes when you are in it you don't really see any other homes so you feel like you have privacy. The views from the master are incredible, the picture window are truly magnificent both in daytime and night. The home is on the darker side but that adds to the 'cabin in the woods' feeling. The home had games, movies, and plush towels and generally felt very homey for a quick getaway. Monica and Niki from New Spirit were very friendly and helpful. Idyllwild is a lovely, sleepy town. We appreciated Niki's recommendation to try the Town Baker, delicious food, friendly people.

We had a FABULOUS time at Upper Rim Rock! The house was very comfortable, the deck was amazing and the overall ambiance was incredible. Can't wait to do it again!

We stayed for 3 nights at Sunset Perch and the setting could not have been more breathtaking. Most of our time was spent on the front deck overlooking the valley and mountains. We played Trivial Pursuit for hours as hawks and blue jays soared overhead and a family of quail meandered through the yard below. It was an unseasonably hot weekend, but the breeze from the valley kept us cool. The open living space was well appointed and had everything we need to cook 3 meals a day. We came with lots of groceries, but the market in town is just a short drive away if we needed additional supplies. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of areas to sprawl out in the living room. The view from the hot tub was also worth noting as it sits on the side of the hill overlooking majestic rock formations as well.

New Spirit Vacationa Services was exceptional with their service :) Nicole and everyone else was awesome with a pleasant friendly attitude. They answered all my questions promptly and professionally. They made the process so easy. The cabin was comfortable and just the right size for my husband and I. It had Everything we needed for our getaway. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the trees surrounding the home. Loved the deck and sliding doors to easily access the deck for views. The home has plenty of windows for sunlight & the view. The kitchen has great counter space too! Good home layout. Plenty of bathroom counter space too. Luv the bedroom with the sliding patio door and tree view. So pretty in the day and night. Large deck! Luv that this cabin is in a private tree setting but Close to town. Perfect location. Tip: the TV in the photos *is Bigger* than the photo.

Great Cabin - Lots of room and easy walk to town / big yard. Only thing I'd note is while the backyard is fenced in, if you have a smaller dog, not sure the fence would keep them in, and there was one place we had to move some stuff to block a missing section of fence. Not an issue with our St. Bernard though (who liked the cabin and yard as well) and is just way too big and clumsy to escape.

My family had a pleasant stay during our short gateway to Idyllwild. Kitchen was fully stocked, hot tub was working great, plenty of towels and overall a very a nice place. Convenient to Idyllwild hiking trails and easy to check in and out. Yard sitting area looks to be in a need of a maintenance. We didn’t use it so it did not affect our stay. Plus there is a dinning table on the patio.

We recently got away to this perfect mountain cabin. Idyllwild is such a cute town with breathtaking scenery. The house was well maintained and had all the listed amenities. The bunk house was perfect for the kids and the two bedrooms were great with comfortable beds and plenty of linen. The hot tub was fun for the kids and we were lucky enough to have snow and use the driveway as a sledding hill. Such a perfect weekend, thank you.

This home was in a great location, beautiful home very nicely decorated with all necessary amenities! We love golf and were able to get out to play, enjoyed the pool and the patio in the evenings. Will definitely be returning, thank you Spirit Vacations and to the owners!

The place is beautiful and peaceful. Atthe back there's a stream of water flowing. We went to a lake that was also so serene and it's very close. Overall, my experience was amazing.

We had a very nice weekend at the cabin. The only thing I would recommend is putting Blinds or Curtains in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom. We've stayed at this cabin before and it's very clean and is located in a very nice neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again

We really liked the house, It was very clean and comfortable. If you are staying there and using the heat .. the downstairs gets really hot and the upstairs is chilly.. Close the downstairs vents for solution. The property management company is wonderful and caring. We needed a dvd cable and they came out on a Friday night and are very cheerful and professional. Location gets a 3 as it is a steep road and driveway and if you do not have a 4 wheel drive ice on the road can bea bit of a challenge. Overall a good experience, nicely laid out lots of room

We arrived at dusk and quickly built a fire. From the skylights above we could hear the rain and hunkered down with a couple good books from the owner’s library. We ate a pizza we bought from Fratello’s down in the village, and drifted off to sleep in the comfy bedroom upstairs. As we discovered, the downstairs has accommodations for 6 in two more bedrooms and full bath (the upstairs has a full bath as well). The skylit kitchen has every appliance and utensil imaginable, including brand new fridge and soundless dishwasher. The enormous wrap-around deck, partially under a large overhang, provided a great dog run when it was raining. The cabin is sited at the end of a private driveway, and angled for privacy. Hard to leave it a few days later, but we will be back!

A private and comfortable getaway nestled in the quiet community of Idyllwild. We brought our dog and had a great 4 days relaxing by the fire in the living room together, and cooking up homemade meals. Very close to town- we walked there in 15 minutes. It was 85 degrees outside during our stay but inside the house remained very cool (even without AC). The only comment I have for improvements is the stove- one of the burners did not work. And when we checked in, we were told the BBQ may not be working. With the maintenance fees we paid for the booking, we hoped we were paying for maintained appliances. If you plan on grilling or cooking up a feast, you might want to call and check about the appliances ahead of time. Overall a good stay, I would recommend this place.

We had a nice, relaxing time staying at Lilac House. The fireplace was great, and the place was a good size for the 2 of us (though there is another bedroom for guests). The place was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, and was a very short drive to town. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was unique, big and very clean. Great location and 1/2 mile walk to town in the snow was fun!

We had a lovely stay at this adorable studio. It was close to town, and came with it’s own private gated yard and Hot tub. It was perfect for a get away to the mountains. Just charming.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. We wanted a quiet little getaway in the mountains, and it was exactly what we got. The addition of the hot tub may have been the best part! Proximity to the town was hugely helpful, just a short walk in. The only thing I would recommend is more floor mats/rugs (the floor gets cold in the winter),and perhaps a second wastebasket for the bathroom. Otherwise, I cannot recommend this place enough!

We stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed our time at HH. The cabin is spacious and spotless. The front yard is a forest! And Strawberry Creek is right outside the back deck. Ideal! We were able to cross the creek and walk into town, which was so nice. Plus, it's quiet and dark at night and if you have a fire going, very cozy!

The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of hot water. No dishwasher in the kitchen, but that's just an excuse to get takeout from the awesome restaurants in town. The lighting is all lamp-based, and get get dim, and the main room can get cold because of the expansive we just got a fire going and really loved our time there.

this cabin is very nice and clean and the view from the balcony is beautiful. we spent most of our time out there is was great. my only complaint was the bed on the 1st floor but other than that it was great.

My group of 12 ladies from our Book Club loved The Pinnacle. It met all our needs. There were many things we didn't do because we were enjoying the views, the fellowship, and the peacefulness. We were pleased all 12 of us could sit together at the long dining table rather than being split up. (We brought up 4 folding chairs) to accomplish this task. Found chairs in the garage when we arrived!

Our family of 10 stayed for a weekend getaway. I have 3 children in wheelchairs, so the elevator was awesome. Amazing views, tranquil front yard with 3 waterfalls. Excellent service from the staff at New Spirit. Highly recommend this home!

Great experience , very relaxing. Home was amazing very comfortable and clean. Very quiet location. We had local places to go eat and to the store . Overall amazing experience. Loved the home.

Great vacation home

The cabin was huge and had plenty of up to date amenities. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Close enough to the main village area and the property had plenty of parking for our two vehicles. The heater and fireplace worked great at keeping the cabin warm even with the snow outside. Beds were comfortable and tons of room to lounge around.

Well awaited stay. This lovely cabin was clean, well-stocked, plenty of room for our girl's weekend. "Just what the Dr ordered". The staff at New Spirit were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The moment you walk in you are blown away by the view. It gets even better when you walk up to the master bedroom. Definitely coming back. The house is a little old, but everything works great.

This is an amazing property. Thank you to Monica and the team for making this happen last minute!! Don’t use your GPS you will get lost. The deck is so nice we rarely spent time inside. Definitely recommend.

We have rented many places for short getaways, and none felt more like "coming home" than Peaceful Pines! The yard was huge and amazing! The house was more stocked than any place we've been. It's better than the photos. We only had two couples...if you had 3 couples in the summer, the ones upstairs might be pretty toasty, but they would have a delightful room! Great beds, towels, and the kitchen was great! Our pooch loved running in the yard too! We enjoyed the Jacuzzi one night too! Highly recommend this place!!

This is such a lovely, impeccably decorated cabin that feels like home. It is the most well-stocked cabin we have ever stayed at! Anything we looked for in the kitchen or otherwise, was there!

Moonlight Mountain Retreat accommodated our family of 8 with ease. Plenty of bedding and towels, and i was pleasantly surprised to find even the mattress cover on the pull out couches were clean! Kitchen was well stocked. It was quiet, peaceful, and really a beautiful setting, yet just a few minutes drive to town so it was easy to make as many trips as we wanted. We had lots of fun with the pool table and shuffle board, and the multiple TV’s were great. The house is so unique and all of the wood working is gorgeous. Even though it was extra hot weather and the house doesn’t have AC, the rental provided fans, there is actually quite a bit of shade over some areas of the house, and at night the temp was perfect for sleeping with the windows open. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at the Moonlight Mountain retreat. The house was clean, spacious and so fun with all the amenities offered. We especially enjoyed the deck space. We went during a heat wave but we were comfortable at night as it cooled down and there were plenty of windows, fans and a room air conditioner in the master suite. We will definitely be back!

The house was great, views were lovely. Felt isolated despite some audible street noise (from 243) when out on the deck. Kitchen remarkably well stocked. Hot tub was private enough to skinny dip. Lots of trouble getting TV streaming to work, staff came next day to address.

We were looking for the color changes in the trees and we were pleasantly pleased. Walking distance from the coffee shop : ), nestled among the trees, clean and warm. Suggestion: need reading lamps in the living room.

We spent 4 days in Idyllwild with our dog, the cabin was perfect for a short stay. The check-in was easy and on time, and check-out was a breeze. The cabin had everything we needed, a nice fenced in outdoor space, a well supplied kitchen, and super comfy beds. The location is also nice, it's a short walk into town and a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely look at other spots in the New Spirit portfolio for future getaways.
