We had a wonderful time even though it was really hot. We enjoyed two long hikes and lots of great meals out.
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the Dome house. The views were spectacular! The house very well kept and the kitchen well stocked with all the cooking tools one could need!! Hope to be able to come and stay at home again!!!
We had a great time, the Cabin had amazing views and everything we needed to feel at home. We would highly recommend.
Awesome view, with a well stocked household. The view is as seen and very nice. But to be fair I gave it 4 stars because part of the view is of a power line which is no big deal but it is there, and It is pretty close to a highway so it can be a little noisy, not bad but just something to keep in mind. Once your in the hot tub at night you can't see or hear that anyways. I would not recommend this place for older people or families with kids. It has a lot of stairs and different levels. Managers were awesome.
We had and excellent time,We would stay here again with another couple or two to keep the costs down.
Our 15-year-old daughter was looking for a special place to have a birthday sleepover with friends. They LOVED this house, and so did we. Wonderful views, lots of privacy, very clean and thoughtfully laid out. Everyone had a wonderful stay.
We stayed at the Lily Rock Lodge for two nights, and it was everything we wanted and more. Perfect location, but close enough to town to get anything we'd need. The hot tub and pool table were wonderful additions. The layout is unconventional, but it worked for us. Very easy check in/ check out process, and the management was quick to respond to any questions. Stay here!
The home was very cozy and relaxing with the sound of the creek behind. All of the accommodations in the house were perfect!
Perfect place for a quick getaway. Property is near trailheads and stays cool because of the tree cover. The view from the deck and master bedroom is beautiful.
Absolutely awesome stay. Wonderful deck with outstanding views. Inside, comfortable with everything well thought and working smoothly. Great heater, awesome chimney, comfy beds, flawless internet, great views from inside too, cool Jacuzzi, BBQ, games, etc. A very nice experience.

Our group had a really nice stay at Cozy Cottage. The check-in instructions were clear and simple. We stayed for a weekend and felt like it was very comfortable. There are a lot of entertainment options and we enjoyed having use of Roku.
My family decided on a peaceful weekend away in Idyllwild and I’m so grateful we did! It all begins when we found our Cozy Cabin rental. The property was set in a gorgeous setting in tall beautiful trees, with very rustic scenery which is exactly what my family was looking for. Cozy cabin was easy to find the description of the property was very accurate the layout of the cabin was simple and very functional, it was very clean & well-maintained. Property manager Niki was super sweet at the rental office when I completed signing papers and was given the keys, she assured me that anything I needed, all I needed to do was call anytime a day & anytime at night, nothing is too small to call over. Niki was super sweet and super professional. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and relatives and plan on staying here again next time I visit Idyllwild California. My family enjoyed a short drive to Lake Hemet where we got on our bicycles and rode around the campsite looking at the beautiful views feeling the sunshine. My family also enjoyed homemade ice cream and delicious dinners lunches and breakfast out in town this Quaint town is very desirable when you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from something you are not used to when you live in a big city like we do. I recommend new spirit vacation rentals because they are so professional their properties are well-maintained and clean and Customer Service was above and beyond especially while corresponding with them through email they were writing me back within minutes. And were super accommodating to answering my questions and Managing our Cozy Cabin stay.
Overall Fern Valley Cottage suited our needs just fine. We chose to have breakfast and dinner in the house and lunch at local restaurants. We enjoyed being able to spend time on the patio and enjoying the trees and the animals.
Great Cabin - Lots of room and easy walk to town / big yard. Only thing I'd note is while the backyard is fenced in, if you have a smaller dog, not sure the fence would keep them in, and there was one place we had to move some stuff to block a missing section of fence. Not an issue with our St. Bernard though (who liked the cabin and yard as well) and is just way too big and clumsy to escape.
Clean and available when they said. Close to town. Plenty of room. Butcher block peninsula was perfect for making Christmas cookies. We will definitely come back.
Sky Rock Lodge was a delightful and cozy cabin retreat. Ample space for the four of us, lovely fireplace, windows to enjoy the outside snow, space for games, great kitchen, private master bedrooms and an unbeatable loft bedroom. Although we had extra beds and could have taken one of the masters, three of us chose to share the cozy loft! Management went above and beyond servicing us... kudos to each of them, thank you!
The whole process was fairly simple and straightforward upon check in. Everything was as the pictures showed. Great view of the golf course as the 3rd green is in your backyard. My family came and watched me the play the 3rd and tee off on the par 3, 4th. Amenities are great down to the really nice air mattresses. Would stay and recommend again.
We were in town to visit family in nearby Indian Wells.Condo was very clean and well laid out and furnished. As it was end of April things were quiet in the transition from winter to summer heat. Pool was just across the very lightly traveled road and well maintained as was the whole property and the rental itself. We'd be happy to stay here again.
The house is perfectly located right next to Strawberry Creek for those much needed moments with nature. It is also just a short hike and even shorter drive to the charming town center with the quaint shops and amazing restaurants.
The house is fully equipped for cooking and entertainment. If the weather is nice, the porch will be your favorite room in the house, with super comfy chairs, a bbq and a propane fire pit.
We used it for a family girl’s weekend. It wasn’t long enough.
Our family stayed in "Three Gazing Stars" for 8 days. We had a lovely experience. My 2 year old was loving just walking in the woods and throwing sticks in Lake Hemet and Lake Fulmor. The hosts were attentive and gracious. We were extremely pleased and the time away from the city was just what we all needed. We will be back for sure! The only quibble I had was that there are rattlesnakes on the compound. I know, of course there are! But it would have been nice to see a reminder note in the welcome folder to keep it on our mind. We found this out the hard way as our dog got bit by a rattlesnake. Not anyone's fault of course but it was an unexpected bill. He's better by the way.
The house was beautiful! Very well stocked kitchen, and all the amenities we needed. The views from the deck were just spectacular, and the house was very clean. The property management was really great. Super fast to answer any questions we had.
This is a great location. Plenty of walking from the doorstep , close to town, private , good views. Big Living Room windows to enjoy the trees and view. Enjoyed coffee on the deck. Beds comfortable . Kitchen well stocked . New Spirit good to work with .
"one of the best VRBO's you have ever arrainged for us".... this is from my employee and his family that I rented the cabin for. they thoroughly enjoyed their time there and could not find anything to complain about.... they stated that everything was as pictured...the kitchen was fully stocked and everything worked. it was also close to the town square without the crowds.
Overall, I would describe our stay at the Lilac House as magical. The home has a cabin in the woods rustic feel that made us feel that we were alone in the woods despite being in the middle of a neighborhood. We spent mornings with Campfyre Coffee on the deck and evenings in the hot-tub watching the stars. My only complaints were the lack of curtains on the front windows, and some windows didn't open or needed to be propped to stay open but, added to the rustic charm.
We had a nice, relaxing time staying at Lilac House. The fireplace was great, and the place was a good size for the 2 of us (though there is another bedroom for guests). The place was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, and was a very short drive to town. We would definitely stay here again!
The house was unique, big and very clean. Great location and 1/2 mile walk to town in the snow was fun!
The Dairy Farm was so lovey and well appointed. The uniqueness and charm added so much to our stay.
My husband and I loved our stay. It was the perfect little cottage for two. The room was clean and had everything we needed. A mini fridge, hot plate, and utensils. Plenty of towels and an A/C unit inside. The hot tub was so great to have and made the stay extra special. The front desk service at check in and out was great too and they were very accommodating when we had trouble figuring out the outside lights for the hot tub. The place is also walking distance to the town which was an added bonus. Would come back for a quiet little get away again!

It was our first time that my family and I rent a cabin and we all love it, kids had the most amazing time, they didn't want to left the cabin. Cabin was clean, very confortable, awesome location, the owner answer all my questions very quickly. We loved it there and we definitely recommend it and also going back in summer.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The home very spacious and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The master bath with big tub and skylight was awesome. After a long day outdoors, we like to get cozy and the fireplace was so nice. The main living room furniture could use some updating with a larger sofa and bigger TV. The blinds were a bit difficult to put up and down. The bedding seemed old and could use new duvets, comforters and blankets. Overall, this place was great.
Dealing with New Spirit was very pleasant. Everything was exactly as expected and the Home was fabulous. 3 great bedrooms and a really exceptional property that was fully stocked with everything that we needed. I highly rate the rental property as well as New Spirit and would certainly use their services and stay at "on the rocks" in the future.
We have been to Idyllwild many times but have not found a lovelier place to stay than Hidden Heaven! We love it here and keep coming back. Charming, secluded, peaceful and simply the best!
this cabin is very nice and clean and the view from the balcony is beautiful. we spent most of our time out there is was great. my only complaint was the bed on the 1st floor but other than that it was great.
Very clean property. Beautiful, large back deck with nice views. The only downside is no central air conditioning, but there were box fans available.. Close to downtown Idyllwild.
Anthony and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The directions and description were very accurate. The house was super clean upon arrival.

Our party consisted of three brothers in our 70’s and 80’s. Two brothers are from out of state. The inside of the home was spotless. The rooms were expansive. We has some problems with. The TV (looking for local, live programming) but soon understood what you see is what you get. The bid selling point is the view. It is spectacular. All in all, it was great!
Great experience , very relaxing. Home was amazing very comfortable and clean. Very quiet location. We had local places to go eat and to the store . Overall amazing experience. Loved the home.
Enjoyed this cabin very much. It was spacious and easily fit 7 people. The Jacuzzi was a plus! Very quiet neighborhood.
Well awaited stay. This lovely cabin was clean, well-stocked, plenty of room for our girl's weekend. "Just what the Dr ordered". The staff at New Spirit were very friendly and helpful.
Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The moment you walk in you are blown away by the view. It gets even better when you walk up to the master bedroom. Definitely coming back. The house is a little old, but everything works great.
We had an amazing time staying at Grande Vista in Idyllwild! The views were absolutely stunning and should sell you on the place on its own, but the house was incredibly cozy and heightened the experience even more. One of our nights, the winds knocked out the Idyllwild power supply (which can happen in the mountains), but New Spirit Vacation Homes was so helpful in bringing us flashlights and supplies! Honestly, that night with no power, looking at the amazing stars is one of my favorite memories from the trip! Thanks so much for making our stay so relaxing, safe, and wonderful!
Two small families and two dogs were the perfect size for this home. We all loved the big beautiful backyard and the hot tub was super clean. The house had a homey feel it was very updated and clean and decorated in great taste. It’s super close to town and the nature center so we enjoyed our daily excursions
This was such a beautiful cabin. We absolutely loved it. The kitchen was very well supplied with everything I needed to cook, and the backyard was beautiful. The house was very, very clean but it was super evident they have a dog. Totally fine by us as we are not allergic. Lots of dog hair. Otherwise this was hands down the best house we have ever rented in Idyllwild, and we visit about 4-5 times a year.
Moonlight Mountain Retreat accommodated our family of 8 with ease. Plenty of bedding and towels, and i was pleasantly surprised to find even the mattress cover on the pull out couches were clean! Kitchen was well stocked. It was quiet, peaceful, and really a beautiful setting, yet just a few minutes drive to town so it was easy to make as many trips as we wanted. We had lots of fun with the pool table and shuffle board, and the multiple TV’s were great. The house is so unique and all of the wood working is gorgeous. Even though it was extra hot weather and the house doesn’t have AC, the rental provided fans, there is actually quite a bit of shade over some areas of the house, and at night the temp was perfect for sleeping with the windows open. We would definitely stay here again.
This was the 2nd time we rented this house and we really love the deck, the view is amazing. Kitchen is well stocked. A little hard to find but the first time we rented this house we called the property manager and they came right over and showed us where the house was. My oldest son is in a wheelchair and this house was very easy for him to get around. We will be back. ♥️
Our family has been renting this house for the last 10 years! We love it & always look forward to it! Perfect location, walkable to town & very comfy accommodations! We would love a keypad entrance rather than picking up a key. Other than that... no complaints!
