Reserved the Dome for a three day weekend in November 2018. We had 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs in total. The place was perfect for our size group and we enjoyed our time in Idyllwild. The home had beautiful views, space for everyone, a wonderful kitchen and great outdoor space. On the last night, the kiddos and I enjoyed the hot tub staring at the stars! Loved it.

Idyllwild is a hidden treasure and staying at the dome was the absolutely perfect accommodation for friends and I celebrating my fiancés birthday! The view from every window was breathe-taking! Especially watching the sunset in the jacuzzi. The location was secluded but still close to downtown. The entire home was decorated for Christmas, a sweet touch to a the impeccable unique home. The house was incredibly clean with heaps of linens. The rental company did an excellent job to make sure we were well taken care of.

We came to Idyllwild with our daughter, son-in-law, son and our dogs to celebrate my 65th birthday. The home is well stocked and super homey. The view is everything, and the hot tub was delightful! Two of the bedrooms are more like lofts, and the property isn't fully fenced, but our dogs don't bolt and we were with family so it was all good. They need to remove "ping pong table" from the listing, as the table is in the carport, folded up. Super convenient location and excellent property management.

I've stayed with New Spirit's properties a few times now and each time I am never disappointed. In fact, I'm surprised with how simple, fun, clean, organized and easy each stay is. I'm a big fan of this company and was blown away by this property. The view is amazing (hence the name). We stayed for 4th of July (2017) with a handful of friends and lounged on the deck while playing music and dipping in the hot tub. If you're looking for a great service and an easy, relaxing experience, New Spirit is for you. And so is The View!

As soon as we walked in we knew this place was going to be perfect! From the layout alone, to all the amenities, it made for such a great bday stay!! The creek was babbling behind us, creating the perfect ambience. And everything was supplied to accommodate our group of 8! Want to come back here over and over! Made for some unforgettable memories!

This is our favorite rental in Idyllwild. The home has many beautiful touches - copper and gemstones throughout. The many windows artfully bring the outdoors alive while inside. The deck is a beautiful viewing area. The master bedroom upstairs is magical. Waking up there is like a dream.

This was a wonderful rental! Great beds. Spotless. Plenty of paper goods. Kitchen well stocked! Service from “New Spirit” was excellent... we even got an assist with some snow removal (thankfully management encouraged us to leave a “low to the ground” auto at their rental office) due to the snow plow piling it up next to our car. I can’t say enough good things about this rental and the management. All of our needs/requests were attended to before and during rental. The extra wood we purchased was plentiful and A GREAT IDEA when heading to snow country where power may go out. Can’t wait to return to Idyllwild and this awesome rental. The hot tub was GREAT.

Absolutely awesome stay. Wonderful deck with outstanding views. Inside, comfortable with everything well thought and working smoothly. Great heater, awesome chimney, comfy beds, flawless internet, great views from inside too, cool Jacuzzi, BBQ, games, etc. A very nice experience.

I was in town for a wedding and everyone at this company made my stay easy and enjoyable. The location was gorgeous and just what I was looking for. I've already referred friends to this company and will use them again.

I needed this!! Thank you New Spirit for putting me in the perfect property for my get away and for helping to make my weekend totally stress free. The seclusion was awesome. I'll be back.

We rented a van to take family there van was not equipped w chains to go down small road towards cottage so we parked at entrance to take down out bags to cottage
Neighbor had to wait for 3 minutes as we tried to walk up the icy hill with 3 ur old and.5 month old babies
He started to yell and tell us he wa gonna call the cops
He told us to go for ourselves
Extremely rude
We apologized and said we had never been there and couldn't take van down
He didn't care
Horrible experience in front of children

Other than that everything else was perfect

Great Cabin - Lots of room and easy walk to town / big yard. Only thing I'd note is while the backyard is fenced in, if you have a smaller dog, not sure the fence would keep them in, and there was one place we had to move some stuff to block a missing section of fence. Not an issue with our St. Bernard though (who liked the cabin and yard as well) and is just way too big and clumsy to escape.

Sky Rock Lodge is very comfortable. We loved the location, the property itself, and the layout of the house. The kitchen was easy to use, the bedrooms private and nice, and the deck was lovely to have breakfast outside. We were lucky and saw live music every day of the 3 days in town and experienced a short thunderstorm!

This home was in a great location, beautiful home very nicely decorated with all necessary amenities! We love golf and were able to get out to play, enjoyed the pool and the patio in the evenings. Will definitely be returning, thank you Spirit Vacations and to the owners!

Excellent. The only problem was a few ants in the kitchen every morning, not a problem, found ant spray under the sink. Most beautiful rental in the trees. Stream had wildflowers blooming all along the trail next to it. House was open airy and lots of windows.

My family and I just love this house. There's plenty of room to spread out, the creek is just steps off the back deck and perfect for the 6yo and 9yo to build dams and float little boats in. We walked to the playground and the town several times, and our little dogs were so happy to have a fenced-in yard when they weren't out on walks or snuggling inside with us. We'll be back for New Year's Eve!

We loved three gazing stars because we could walk to town . The driveway was not too steep so we were able to walk up and down without problems. Looking forward to go back

Close to down town and shops, we were so relaxed after lock our self up from COVID-19. This was a treat for us and my dogs.

We arrived at dusk and quickly built a fire. From the skylights above we could hear the rain and hunkered down with a couple good books from the owner’s library. We ate a pizza we bought from Fratello’s down in the village, and drifted off to sleep in the comfy bedroom upstairs. As we discovered, the downstairs has accommodations for 6 in two more bedrooms and full bath (the upstairs has a full bath as well). The skylit kitchen has every appliance and utensil imaginable, including brand new fridge and soundless dishwasher. The enormous wrap-around deck, partially under a large overhang, provided a great dog run when it was raining. The cabin is sited at the end of a private driveway, and angled for privacy. Hard to leave it a few days later, but we will be back!

Overall, I would describe our stay at the Lilac House as magical. The home has a cabin in the woods rustic feel that made us feel that we were alone in the woods despite being in the middle of a neighborhood. We spent mornings with Campfyre Coffee on the deck and evenings in the hot-tub watching the stars. My only complaints were the lack of curtains on the front windows, and some windows didn't open or needed to be propped to stay open but, added to the rustic charm.

We had a nice, relaxing time staying at Lilac House. The fireplace was great, and the place was a good size for the 2 of us (though there is another bedroom for guests). The place was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, and was a very short drive to town. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I had such a great stay at Dairy Manor. You can feel the love and inspiration of this home in every single room, there is so much charm and character everywhere you look. The home’s age gave it so much of its beautiful character, yet you still have all the modern essentials needed for your stay. I never thought my sons (ages 5 & 8) would enjoy a home as much as they did at the Dairy Manor. Our stay here in Idyllwild was exactly what we needed as a family, shutting out the world of 2021, connecting with each other, and with Mother Nature. I honestly couldn’t be happier then I was with The Dairy Manor!

Property is small but not tiny. It will be OK for a couple and feels very cozy. The private backyard isn't much, but the spa is spectacular, especially at night. The property is in a shared area with another house, so parking might be tricky if the other house has more than a couple vehicles. Just a few minutes walk from the main town area and great for star gazing or just generally relaxing.

We loved our long weekend in Idyllwild at Golden Sunshine. This is a very charming, welcoming home with everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the woods. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking great meals, the living spaces were great for playing games, watching movies and hanging out with friends. We spent some time playing games on the deck and would have loved a few more adirondack chairs for watching the sunset, but other than that we had the best time. Would recommend for couples and families looking for a spacious home in a relaxing environment with excellent views. Also, an easy 7 min drive to town for food and amenities.

Dealing with New Spirit was very pleasant. Everything was exactly as expected and the Home was fabulous. 3 great bedrooms and a really exceptional property that was fully stocked with everything that we needed. I highly rate the rental property as well as New Spirit and would certainly use their services and stay at "on the rocks" in the future.

I gathered some friends together (10) for a birthday stay with me as a cabin retreat from the city. It was exactly what we expected it to be and a wonderful home base for us all.

We had an amazing time at this property. The view was amazing it’s in a quiet neighborhood. (never saw neighbors). We stayed memorial weekend and went into town for shopping and restaurants. Only a 5min drive to town. We will definitely stay again. Property manager was great we needed the tank filled for the gas grill and they were on top of it. Highly recommended

Very clean property. Beautiful, large back deck with nice views. The only downside is no central air conditioning, but there were box fans available.. Close to downtown Idyllwild.

Beautiful, peaceful home. Brand new and super clean. Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone. Made for a really nice weekend away with a couple families. Highly recommend this home. Breakfast on the deck was unforgettable.

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids, and had the most amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The living area and kitchen have a lovely view of the trees and the lake, which makes breakfast a fantastic experience. The house heating system works well and the fireplace helps as well. The house is also only about 8 min drive from the Village. Overall, it was a 10/10.

We had a very nice time. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. We would love to stay there again.

Our time in the Bears Den Cabin was exceptional. Plenty of room and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and flatware. We did have a you bird stuck in the fireplace when we arrived but we got him out safely.

We had 5 wonderful days to spend with our 2 dogs and older kids. They delivered wood for us and the home provided all necessary needs to stay in the best comfort. The balcony view was amazing! Watched the hawks screech and soar right over our heads. The home doorways was blessed and we felt warm and protected. The tub is in the floor which was weird but cool! The loft bedroom again wake up to a beautiful sunrise over looking the mountain trees and some snow. This is our 2nd time with Spirit. Love love love it!!

We had an amazing time staying at Grande Vista in Idyllwild! The views were absolutely stunning and should sell you on the place on its own, but the house was incredibly cozy and heightened the experience even more. One of our nights, the winds knocked out the Idyllwild power supply (which can happen in the mountains), but New Spirit Vacation Homes was so helpful in bringing us flashlights and supplies! Honestly, that night with no power, looking at the amazing stars is one of my favorite memories from the trip! Thanks so much for making our stay so relaxing, safe, and wonderful!

We enjoyed staying here during a winter storm. It was WONDERFUL! And what a beautiful cabin!

We love this home.

The cabin was perfect for family of nine (5 teens, 4 adults). The best feature was the beautiful view on the ample deck. After long day, it was nice to be able to relax in the Jacuzzi, play pool, and enjoy a hot meal that we cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. We would return here in a heartbeat. Bring sleep eye masks so the sun doesn't wake you in the morning. There are no windows coverings in the bedrooms.

This is a really nice place for adults and kids alike. 2 game rooms and a jacuzzi! The view of Lilly Rock (Tahquitz) is breathtaking!

The place was perfect for our needs. Comfortable, clean, and beautifully appointed.

The lodge is terrific. It's clean, well-stock, centrally located to both town and trails. It's both beautiful and pleasant to stay in and convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! The cabin is comfortable and well-stocked. We also loved the backyard being fenced so our pup and toddler could roam around. The property is private, but it is very close to everything including the town center and the nature center. We look forward to our next stay!

Loved this property for our wedding party to stay! It was a beautiful location and we were even able to use the location for our first looks and wedding party photos. They have a beautiful waterfall in the backyard and stunning views from every level of the outdoor deck. Driveway is very steep but as soon as we figured out going down backwards was a bad idea everything was much easier! We would love to stay here again in the future!

Our group of 6 had a great experience. The beds were comfortable and the rental company was responsive and helpful.

We had an amazing weekend at Hidden Heaven. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. You can take the creek path a few minutes into town or you can take it farther and drop in on the north side or town near Cafe Aroma. We enjoyed the location and the scenery!

We had a great time staying at this cabin. The rental service was very communicative and the instructions for arrival and departure were very clear. The cabin is as pictured, with the exception of no outside table on the patio anymore. The wifi is very tricky - you can only have one person on wifi if you are trying to connect on the smart TV - Otherwise the TV would not connect. We also couldn't figure out how to watch the upstairs TV. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were great. That said, the cabin is very run down and there are a few things that need to be done - like replace the toilet seat in the bathroom by the kitchen, and take out the carpet in the other bathroom, that could help. But none of this stopped us from having a great time and totally enjoying our stay. I would highly recommend this cabin as long as you are ok with some of the quirks that come with an older cabin.
