Testimonials
Nice place, great location
"I spent four nights here. The place was stylish, clean, and in good shape. The management staff was very helpful. I understand that the cabin was built in the 1950s, but a more recent remodel was done, including plumbing, electrical and installation of a big loft with king bed. I really liked the rustic wood floors. The loft is accessible via a ladder that sits in the middle of the living room. Though a little awkwardly-placed, it expands the usable space quite a bit for such a small overall footprint on the lot. I wasn't excited about laddering in the middle of the night, so I slept in the smaller room accessible by stairs. The kitchen is small, sort of like an apartment kitchen, but it's efficient and functional. I saw that a previous reviewer had complained about the refrigerator. For me, the refrigerator worked fine, but the freezer did not freeze. The HVAC outlet is very high above the loft level, maybe not a great location for heat. It was 27 degrees one night, and while it was an indicated 82 at the loft, it was in the 60s downstairs and the space heater couldn't really keep up. I guess warm air rises after all. The cabin's location is convenient, and it faces west for sunset views. I did some hiking while in town, and discovered that the Ernie Maxwell Trail ends (or begins) about half a mile from the cabin on the same street. Overall, a nice place and I'd stay there again."

Good but not great, and not what I had in mind...
"REALLY missed having a porch with CHAIRS to sit on or even a deck or patio in the backyard for star gazing or just enjoying morning coffee.
Don't get me wrong, it was a lovely cabin with lovely decor and very comfortable, just not what I had in mind for a mountain getaway. It was a house only- no outdoor space of any kind :( Yes, there was a nice porch, but no chairs!
It had a BEAUTIFUL loft, but at my age, there was no way in **** I was going to tackle that ladder in the middle of the night to use the restroom!
Thank goodness there was another bedroom with a surprisingly comfortable bed considering it was a Murphy bed.
Bring a cooler because the refrigerator was useless.
AMAZING shower and bathtub-
We loved the overall decor and feel of the home, but would like to try another home that has outdoor space."
