Welcome to The Dome (Idy Dome)

Property is nice for Adults, our daughter was injured.

"The Dome is a nice property. Great for adults. Our issue is with New Spirit Vacation Rentals. We got charged for two cabin rentals. Initially we had rented the Almost Heaven cabin. Immediately on entry it was apparent the advertised photographs of the cabin were not reflective of the cabins current condition. The Almost Heaven cabin itself was in a state of dilapidation. The air inside was thick, and stinky. Concerned about our health and the cabins hygiene i asked for another option. We visited The Dome, confirmed it was clean, and current. The Dome wouldn't be my first choice with a six year old, but given that it was memorial day weekend, and we were exhausted, and without another place to go too, i was grateful for the shelter. It's now 9 P.m. and 1 1/2 hours past my 6 year old bed time. The other half of our party would arrive the next day. We are at The NP Office where they ask us for copies of our drivers license, and signature on documents via our phone. Very strange. The manager lets us know if they resent Almost Heaven they would give us a partial refund. But no concerns for us having to spend more, or being inconvenienced. They were more interested in getting our money, arguing, and taking more information than needed. New Spirit Vacation Homes was able to re-rent Almost Heaven, but did not give us the refund they promised. And to make matters worse our daughter was injured when the swinging chair fell on her and knocked her over the wall, down onto the gravel and rocks below. If i could add a picture i would. Two months later I am still working on the scars. It shook us to our core. And she was a little champ about it, after tears. I would not work with them again. And wish I had seen the negative reviews on BBB and Yelp previous to having this experience."

Love the views

"This location is phenomenal if you want beautiful views and nice amenities like a hot tub and sauna. The furnishings (decorative pillows and carpet) could definitely use a refresh. The shag rugs felt dirty and outdated. "

I Will Be Back

"Wonderful stay. Multiple outside locations to gather, from the high platform with the hut tub that held three large men, to the stagnant pond at the end of the walk from the driveway. Two inside locations to gather; large main room adjacent to kitchen and below game room that could sleep 8 and has one separate entrance. Greatest high ceiling. You will leave appreciating triangles. "

Amazing holiday home for groups and families

"This property is a great place to go to to get away from it all. Uninterrupted views, overlooking Idyllwild. The house was perfect for our party of 9 adults. Plenty of space, excellent facilities and close enough to walk to town. The sunsets were perfect from the hot tub. "
