"Our group really enjoyed the property. There is some deferred maintenance, the exterior paint needs work, the decks are shaky in areas, the furniture is well-worn. We were there the weekend it stormed and it's clear that some of the exterior doors are missing weather stripping. Additionally, several of the kitchen cabinets need repair. "

"We were a group of 12 adults on a work retreat. The house was perfect, spacious, well-appointed, and in a gorgeous location. We had everything we needed and it was clean and well maintained. Only downsides: The jacuzzi is very small and we would have liked a bigger one. Also, the smallest 'bedroom' is really like a closet with a rickety bunkbed in it."

"The Pinnacle turned out to be a perfect place for our family reunion held every Thanksgiving. There were beds for everyone, it was comfortable and well equipped. The large table was perfect for all our game playing, and the living room large enough for us to sit and chat. We loved using the hot tub while it was snowing, and the view was spectacular!!! We look forward to using it again next year."

"My group of 12 ladies from our Book Club loved The Pinnacle. It met all our needs. There were many things we didn't do because we were enjoying the views, the fellowship, and the peacefulness. We were pleased all 12 of us could sit together at the long dining table rather than being split up. (We brought up 4 folding chairs) to accomplish this task. Found chairs in the garage when we arrived!"

"This home is even more beautiful than described! The location and views can't be beat. Mountain vistas from nearly every room. Very clean and spacious, beds are super comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could possibly need, lots of outdoor furniture to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. They aren't joking about the steep driveway. If there is any chance of snow or ice, you will need truck and/or tire chains. Idyllwild is full of great shops, fantastic restaurants and nice people. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with 12 family members. I wish we could be as enthusiastic about the customer service. Prior to our arrival I had a few questions - sent email, left voice mail and left a personal message with a young man who promised a call back in 30 minutes. Received no reply to any of these messages. Left another message during our stay (missing hair dryer) and again no reply. Mentioned this during our two visits to the office and response was very apathetic shoulder shrug and no apologies or explanation from 4 different staff members. We had no major issues but it makes me wonder if we had what the response (or lack of) would have been. One note: we saw a mouse in the kitchen and droppings in the pantry. The locals told us "every house up there has them, no matter how nice or clean. Can't stop them." We put all our food in plastic tubs or refrigerator for our 3 day stay and it worked out fine. But it bears warning anyone who would be bothered by this to the point of being unable to stay. (no response from office staff when we mentioned mouse and droppings) Highly recommend this rental with small warnings about staff response, steep driveway and possible mice. "

"I hosted a silent retreat here and there aren't enough words to express how the home and location totally provided us all with the most beautiful views and comfort. Each woman enjoyed every aspect of this lovely home. We did a silent heart chakra meditation outside, meditated next to the beautiful sounds of the outdoor flowing waters. We rested on the deck and was in AWE of the how high were, literally eye level with the trees. This is an amazing space. Very clean, plenty of room, nice energy and just simply amazing."

The stove wasn't working, and the hot tub was also not heating up all the way which was a bummer. I would definitely check right when you get there to make sure the hot tub works."

"Loved this property for our wedding party to stay! It was a beautiful location and we were even able to use the location for our first looks and wedding party photos. They have a beautiful waterfall in the backyard and stunning views from every level of the outdoor deck. Driveway is very steep but as soon as we figured out going down backwards was a bad idea everything was much easier! We would love to stay here again in the future! "
