With just a short 5 min walk you can hear the soothing waters of Strawberry Creek, take a stroll to the town's amenities, or take a short 5-minute drive to the picturesque hiking trails of Humber Park, "Fern Valley Cottage" offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. -Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January.
- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.
Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.
- Parking: Free parking is available for 2 vehicles.
- County permit number: 001754
- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.
Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2, we no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21. Those under 25 will provide an additional security deposit of $250-$500 on the day of arrival, depending on the home.
- Seasonal wood delivery: There is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces) if available. Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.
- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.
- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.
-Home Guarded with Noise Aware: NoiseAware never identifies specific guest sounds or records guests. Ever. FCC-certified privacy-safe NoiseAware measures decibel levels over time, giving you privacy-safe noise monitoring that prioritizes guest experience.
