Mountain view retreat in Fern Valley on the creek with amazing views This unique home is located in Fern Valley atop the majestic mountain town of Idyllwild, California. The Big Rock Creek Lodge is nestled in the pines above the rushing waters of Strawberry Creek and backs up to the prestigious gated community of Alpen Woods. This home is 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. The exquisite master bedroom has scenic views through mitered windows with an unobstructed, close-up view, of Suicide Rock. Suicide Rock can also be viewed from the expansive deck. On the large deck there is also a BBQ and a spa, with Strawberry Creek right next to the home. Hang outside and listen to the babbling creek while you enjoy the beautiful scenery. The cozy family room has an exclusive rock fireplace and a 42 inch TV with enough room to entertain friends and family.

"We had an amazing stay at Big Rock Creek Lodge from 5/7–5/10 with our grandkids! Everything about the home was perfect and exactly what we hoped for in a mountain getaway.<br/><br/>The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made cooking meals easy and convenient. The house was also stocked with numerous board games that kept everyone entertained and created some really fun family memories.<br/><br/>One of our favorite parts was relaxing on the deck while listening to the creek running below the house — it was so peaceful and calming. The hot tub was absolutely amazing, especially in the cool mountain air with the beautiful scenery surrounding us. The views are incredible, and the setting truly feels like a relaxing retreat in the pines.<br/><br/>The location was perfect for enjoying nature and spending quality family time together. We loved the cozy atmosphere of the home and appreciated how comfortable and welcoming everything felt.<br/><br/>We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Big Rock Creek Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape in Idyllwild."

"We had a great stay at this property in idyllwild. It was clean and cozy and the sounds of the creek were very relaxing. The only issue we had was that the WiFi connection wasn’t working and we had no way of calling property management to let them know. It wasn’t a big issue for us but my 2 kids weren’t happy about it. If you don’t mind unplugging for a few days, this house is a great choice. "
