We've been meaning to stay here for years and finally went: saw a deer in the yard, nice of them to have binoculars and a telescope, if you expect to use a hot tub make sure to ask about it when you reserve. Ultimately check-in was very smooth and easy, but as an old-school paper person (who procrastinates) the request for a copy of ID before arrival was worrying. Everyone was pleasant and responsive during our stay (we got some help sorting out TV remotes).

We loved to stay at The View, a great experience in a very special place.

The view from The View House really is as magical as the pictures show. There is more deck furniture now. It is lovely. The kitchen is much nicer than the pictures show as well. It's a lovely home. Monica and Niki from New Spirit were so friendly and helpful, it added to the entire experience. The house was very clean and welcoming. It was also super close to town yet when you were in it it felt very secluded.

Our family of four adults and three children, ages six and ten, had a relaxing four day getaway in Idyllwild at the Lily Rock Lodge. The furnishings were exactly as depicted in the VRBO app as was the awesome views. We enjoyed the pool table, other games, and the hot tub.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lily Rock. The cabin is beautiful and the views are stunning.

This was a wonderful rental! Great beds. Spotless. Plenty of paper goods. Kitchen well stocked! Service from “New Spirit” was excellent... we even got an assist with some snow removal (thankfully management encouraged us to leave a “low to the ground” auto at their rental office) due to the snow plow piling it up next to our car. I can’t say enough good things about this rental and the management. All of our needs/requests were attended to before and during rental. The extra wood we purchased was plentiful and A GREAT IDEA when heading to snow country where power may go out. Can’t wait to return to Idyllwild and this awesome rental. The hot tub was GREAT.

Absolutely awesome stay. Wonderful deck with outstanding views. Inside, comfortable with everything well thought and working smoothly. Great heater, awesome chimney, comfy beds, flawless internet, great views from inside too, cool Jacuzzi, BBQ, games, etc. A very nice experience.

My family decided on a peaceful weekend away in Idyllwild and I’m so grateful we did! It all begins when we found our Cozy Cabin rental. The property was set in a gorgeous setting in tall beautiful trees, with very rustic scenery which is exactly what my family was looking for. Cozy cabin was easy to find the description of the property was very accurate the layout of the cabin was simple and very functional, it was very clean & well-maintained. Property manager Niki was super sweet at the rental office when I completed signing papers and was given the keys, she assured me that anything I needed, all I needed to do was call anytime a day & anytime at night, nothing is too small to call over. Niki was super sweet and super professional. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and relatives and plan on staying here again next time I visit Idyllwild California. My family enjoyed a short drive to Lake Hemet where we got on our bicycles and rode around the campsite looking at the beautiful views feeling the sunshine. My family also enjoyed homemade ice cream and delicious dinners lunches and breakfast out in town this Quaint town is very desirable when you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from something you are not used to when you live in a big city like we do. I recommend new spirit vacation rentals because they are so professional their properties are well-maintained and clean and Customer Service was above and beyond especially while corresponding with them through email they were writing me back within minutes. And were super accommodating to answering my questions and Managing our Cozy Cabin stay.

My three children and I enjoyed our stay at the rental very much. We were close enough to downtown and close enough to the trails that we enjoyed both with no time wasted in commute. I recommend it.

This was a great place for a getaway. Close to town, lots of space for 2-4 people and a lot of outdoor space. We will be back!

Sky Rock Lodge was a delightful and cozy cabin retreat. Ample space for the four of us, lovely fireplace, windows to enjoy the outside snow, space for games, great kitchen, private master bedrooms and an unbeatable loft bedroom. Although we had extra beds and could have taken one of the masters, three of us chose to share the cozy loft! Management went above and beyond servicing us... kudos to each of them, thank you!

Didn’t have to leave the cabin. Everything and anything was available we are all in our 70s and 80s and we had a wonderful time

The whole process was fairly simple and straightforward upon check in. Everything was as the pictures showed. Great view of the golf course as the 3rd green is in your backyard. My family came and watched me the play the 3rd and tee off on the par 3, 4th. Amenities are great down to the really nice air mattresses. Would stay and recommend again.

We were in town to visit family in nearby Indian Wells.Condo was very clean and well laid out and furnished. As it was end of April things were quiet in the transition from winter to summer heat. Pool was just across the very lightly traveled road and well maintained as was the whole property and the rental itself. We'd be happy to stay here again.

The Treehouse was a great house for multiple families to stay at. We loved that each room had its own bathroom. The upstairs loft was a great place for the kids to play and hangout. We enjoyed the deck and playing in the snow in the yard. We never had to leave the house. We would highly recommend staying here. The only small issues were the house was not ready at check in time and we ran out of toilet paper during our stay.

Perfect for 7 adults and 2 kids. Extremely well equipped, roomy, and comfortable. It was close to own. We come not have had a better home. Thank you NewSpirit!

The view is awesome. Close enough to walk to downtown. The house is really nice - I wish I owned it. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and a nice big living room and patio... We could not have had a better time. And a big thanks to New Spirit - I consider myself lucky to be a return customer.

This wonderful cabin exceeded my expectations! The photos don't do it justice. <br/><br/>When you walk in, there's a huge fireplace & a grand piano in the front room, it feels like coming home. Giant wrap around windows and deck show all the beauty surrounding it: large pines & peek-a-boo views of the mountains. <br/><br/>The cabin is very close to the town center, so that made it very convenient. It's about a mile walk into town, or a two minute drive. <br/><br/>There was ample space to move around comfortably with the six of us. The kitchen has everything you need. We did not use the oven, which looked like a throwback from the 1970s, but all the other appliances were new. <br/><br/>The decor & architecture is lovely and has a real cabin-in-the-woods feel about it. Some of the cabin components were dated, but that just added to the charm of the place.<br/><br/>The management office was very professional & they even sent me a text during our stay to see if we were enjoying our stay. The entire booking process was easy & I felt confident things were going to be great well before our arrival.<br/><br/>I would recommend bringing matches & kindling for a fire and avoid buying wood from this guy who was selling it from the back of his truck in the town center. We got ripped off... lol! <br/><br/>I also suggest that if you're going to order wood from the company that New Spirit recommends, that you give them a three day notice before your arrival. Nowhere was it stated in the information that we needed to give them notice, so on the day of our arrival and request for wood, they were unable to deliver. No big deal in light of everything else being great & you can purchase wood in town from reputable sellers.<br/><br/>Because this is a small town, there are limited restaurant choices. We were there during a three day weekend & it was impossible to find a place to eat that didn't have a two hour wait. <br/><br/>I would highly recommend this company and their properties and

"one of the best VRBO's you have ever arrainged for us".... this is from my employee and his family that I rented the cabin for. they thoroughly enjoyed their time there and could not find anything to complain about.... they stated that everything was as pictured...the kitchen was fully stocked and everything worked. it was also close to the town square without the crowds.

The house was unique, big and very clean. Great location and 1/2 mile walk to town in the snow was fun!

Easy booking. We loved staying is this cute and cozy cottage. Comfy bed and just the right size for a romantic getaway. Roomy fenced backyard with a relaxing spa. Perfect for 2. Within walking distance to town, but not too close to be bothered by traffic noise.

This little cottage was the PERFECT one-person-plus-dog getaway destination. We came up from LA for the 4th of July week to escape from the fireworks mayhem in the city, and I'm happy to say the loudest noise we heard the whole time was the tree frogs. This is a sweet little cottage, with all the amenities that were promised: total privacy, comfy bed, TV (once I figured out how to use it), good wifi, nice kitchen and bathroom, enough space to spread out a bit, a fine hot tub, and best of all, a private fenced yard for the dog to run around in. We hiked a little, went to town for coffee and groceries, and I had a wonderful massage down the road. I'm so happy to have found this little haven of peace and quiet.

This house was perfect for our family of four with plenty of room to spare. The house is bigger than you would think with many balconies and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the views. Everything was in working order and immaculate. The management company was very responsive. They were even able to deliver an order of wood even though it was less than 3 days notice as required. They went above and beyond. We have told family and friends what a great home it was and the location was perfect. A 15 min walk to town and secluded from other neighbors. We will definitely book this place again.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The home very spacious and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The master bath with big tub and skylight was awesome. After a long day outdoors, we like to get cozy and the fireplace was so nice. The main living room furniture could use some updating with a larger sofa and bigger TV. The blinds were a bit difficult to put up and down. The bedding seemed old and could use new duvets, comforters and blankets. Overall, this place was great.

I had a great and peaceful time at the residence. Location and views are phenomenal. The property is well kept and has many amenities which includes a jacuzzi.

We had a wonderful time at The Pinnacle for four nights in late June, and enjoyed some local hikes in the area and general relaxation. There were only five of us with two small dogs, so there was plenty of space to spread out. We&#x2019;d come back again in a heartbeat!

This house was wonderful. It fit 16 people perfectly, and had most everything we could have needed! I highly recommend this place for anyone hosting a retreat or that has a big family. The stove wasn't working, and the hot tub was also not heating up all the way which was a bummer. I would definitely check right when you get there to make sure the hot tub works.

Great experience , very relaxing. Home was amazing very comfortable and clean. Very quiet location. We had local places to go eat and to the store . Overall amazing experience. Loved the home.

We had a really nice stay. Monica was extremely responsive when we needed something. The views from the deck were stunning. The kids also had so much fun and we would stay here again.

My family and I had a great 4 day stay here in July. There is no AC so it was uncomfortable for 1 of those days as we were having record breaking temperatures. The cabin was clean and the surroundings were very quite and peaceful. The hot tub was nice and ready to go when we arrived. The rooms in the loft upstairs were comfortable but recommended for kids as the stairs are a bit steep going up and down and the bathroom is more fashioned for short people. There is also no doors dividing the two rooms upstairs, its open space. <br/>Over all we had a very nice stay. There are some fans in the cabin but I recommend avoiding this location during the peak of summer.

It was simply fantastic! I work 11 hours a day, 5 days a week and occasional Saturdays and Sundays. Needless to say it was a much needed rest for me. To be one with Mother Nature was fantastic. The accommodations provided everything we needed. We will certainly book again direct (New Spirit) this time to save added charges.

Everything was as presented. The deck was amazing. We spent a lot of time outside, but were perfectly content to stay at the house rather than sightseeing. We were out each night shooting photos of the Milky Way perfectly framed between the trees off the deck. The house was not for people with significant disabilities, but we were very content there. Thanks for a great stay!

We had 5 wonderful days to spend with our 2 dogs and older kids. They delivered wood for us and the home provided all necessary needs to stay in the best comfort. The balcony view was amazing! Watched the hawks screech and soar right over our heads. The home doorways was blessed and we felt warm and protected. The tub is in the floor which was weird but cool! The loft bedroom again wake up to a beautiful sunrise over looking the mountain trees and some snow. This is our 2nd time with Spirit. Love love love it!!

We rent in Idyllwild often and this is one of the nicer places we've stayed. They pay attention to small details and aren't afraid to make higher quality items available for their guests. And the property itself is very inviting and great use of space. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time renting through New Spirit Vacation Homes, although we've stayed in Idyllwild for years now. It was easily one of the best experiences with using a local vacation rental business. They were very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. I also they think they have a great selection of cabins to choose from and I can't wait to experience another one! <br/><br/>The Lazy Bear was adorable, full of special touches and vintage charm. The bed was super comfortable and I slept great. The kitchen actually had nice cookware and knives! What a surprise! We had no problem cooking all of our meals. We truly enjoyed the ambiance of the cabin between the great fireplace, comfortable furniture, and outdoor space.

Beautiful home and lovely deck area. House in very good condition inside and out. Spa, pool table and game room all were used and enjoyed. The road coming in to the house needs some repairs, but overall a wonderful place for 10 people. We never felt cramped or crowded.
